    @@orangejekie4066 Ahh... I see you remembered! I got the item, it was well packaged shipped in good condition. The instructions were good, quite clear. It worked okay. I should say that I have a large washer and dryer, I was just looking to be environmentally friendly and cost effective when I need to do in between loads like my gym clothes and socks etc which I don't want to keep in the laundry hamper for days until I get a load big enough to put in the full-sized washer. Honestly, for me it's a "meh!" I can't say that the clothes were very well washed at all. But that's perhaps because I was stepping too much and not using appropriate rhythm. There's actually a recommended step per seconds that should be followed for optimal results. The real pain though was the spin dry cycle. Any attempt at getting your clothes even close to being free of water is gonna require a lot of intense stepping on that lever. It takes work. I am 6 ft 1 inches tall and I found that bending over to work this thing could really take a toll on my back. So all in all, not great for me. My nephew is in love with it and doesn't mind doing the stepping for me, he thinks its his new toy! So since I have help with the stepping, I think I'll keep it for when he comes over on weekends. But for small items to wash in between bigger wash cycles, I think I'm going to purchase the Wonderwasher for less than $50 on amazon! Oh by the way, don't even get me started on the price... novel idea, but this thing is way too expensive when one considers that the user is essentially doing all the work and there's no electrical parts or motor associated with it. This is just my two-cents. Perhaps others will have a different opinion.

    I have this product and the presenter couldn't have said it better - washing with it is indeed a journey. That thing is so darn hard to pedal and me being 6 ft tall, I have to crouch over and hold on to the unit while pedaling. The worse part about it is that after all that work the clothes come out in my honest opinion "freshened" but not super clean and they're as wet as a sponge!! So all in all a "meh" for me - but my 8 year old nephew LOVES pedaling it - oh well!!!

    And the socks didn't even come out clean. The trick to cleaning clothes is that they have to soak for a bit to give the dirt time to loosen/lift off the fabric - this is why the wash cycle is longer on a washing machine and if you watch any handwash video, the demonstrator will tell you to let the clothes soak for 30 mins to overnite (for dirtier clothes/sheets). It would be better to get a dry bag and put a small flexible washboard in it, pop your clothes in and let them soak a bit then rub with your hands to agitate the clothes on the washboard for a light scrub. Add some baking soda to your laundry for a better clean and softer clothes. This will cost you less money and less time and you'll have cleaner clothes.

    I bought this and i regret it. I bought it on Amazon for $382 after taxes and it only lasted me maybe a month before the gear from the inner drum to the foot pedal base begin slipping and eventually stop spinning the drum completely. I contacted Yirego and took them 4 months to send me the replacement gear. And after about two weeks the gear is slipping again. Despite that issue, the unit really doesnt do a great job of agitating the clothes, so it does a poor job of cleaning really dirty clothes. Also the recommended water level is inadequate to clean properly. At that level i had to rinse and repeat up to 6 times to get the clothes clean enough to a satisfactory level. I would recommend getting a washing wand which costs 25 bucks and does a way better job cleaning your clothes.

    My washing machine just broke. Looking at all these mechanical alternatives, I think I’m going to pass. The washing stuff by hand is the easy part. It’s the wringing the water out without twisting the clothes that’s difficult. Until I find a mechanic to come in, I think I’m going to just buy a $5 bucket from the hardware store, drill a bunch of drain holes in it, hang the bucket on a rope, and spin it to use centripetal force to wring the clothes out.

    Akif 95 sorry I don’t remember every site and my phone couldn’t save them Cos I have no room as it’s data aka memory is full. I can get back to another time and let you know of a few I seen. I think there was some on eBay and Amazon, like RV travelling washing machines. They are pretty cool and not too big so they don’t take up much room. I saw them selling for like 99 or around 100 bucks. I also saw them sell for more too so ya just gotta look around man. I was impatient and just went with an Aussie company called outback equipment and got a manual washer spinner, it’s like a huge salad spinner but much stronger and it’s designed for washing spinning clothes/towels not salad lol. That was Aussie dollars tho and it was $59 wit shipping. I mean I prob could have gotten cheaper but it’s a good brand and it’s sturdy and I like it plus it was one of the cheaper ones I saw for the size and quality. But yeah depends where u live though mate. There’s some awesome manual foot washing machines and spinners you can get from Asia. I don’t know if he is selling to all countries though and I really wanted to buy one off him but he never got back to me fast enough and I wanted one fast so I gave up waiting. But Not sure how much they were now but he has several videos on KZread and there’s plenty of machines like that and they are cheap and some are manual and some are power and I saw one where it was under 100 and it was by power and like thin in width but higher so it still did enough washing per load and perfect for one person or travelling, or like me someone who has no room at home for big machines etc.

  • @NMW80

    @NMW80

    4 жыл бұрын

    Akif 95 are u looking for a powered machine that washes, rinses and spins? Like full auto? Most of what I looked at were not fully auto but some of them were though. Actually I wasn’t looking for a powered machine, I was looking for an off the grid portable manual machine that didn’t need any power. But yeah it’s only Cos I have a powered machine at home already. If that breaks fully and stops working all together I will definitely get one of them powered small RV travel washing machines that don’t take up heaps of room. Anyways will try and find some I looked at but I can’t tell ya if they are any good tho or not Cos I haven’t got any yet. What I can say is the manual washer spinner I bought is good if you don’t mind some extra manual labouring work. It would get annoying after a while and of course it doesn’t work as good as an electronic machine. It does the job though and gets most the water out. The more you spin the more it gets out too so yeah its pretty good for spinning but I don’t think it’s good for a washing machine tbh. I mean I don’t really use it for washing clothes, just spinning water out. I tried it once or twice and it didn’t wash it as good as I thought it would but I didn’t really give it a good chance I guess and I may have not done it properly or with enough water or soap 🤷‍♀️ but yeah it definitely beats trying to drip dry clothes towels etc or wringing them out by hand lol
