If that happened (big IF), they would most likely put it in T5 as that is where Delta is. The other terminals at ORD are basically runned by United and American and they have the majority of the lounges there.

I enjoy my Schwab card. The limit wont affect me but it bothers me that Amex seems to constantly lower the benefits over the years

and hiking the fee. Remember when the schwab card cost 550 and got you back 1.25x on that bonus? The card doesn't *yet* not make sense, but it's getting close; credit union cashback cards are becoming much more competitive now.

Sebby, I wanted to thank you for all the tips you have given me throughout the years. If it wasnt for you, i wouldnt have been able to take a dream honeymoon to Japan and stay in the Ritz in Kyoto using only points. I’ve realized that as I am slowly transitioning out of the accumulation phase and entering the enjoyment phase of my life, I no longer agonize over every point and wonder if other early viewers such as myself are in the same boat. Perhaps there might be some other opportunity to branch out into other content for those who have leveled up. Dont get the wrong idea, I am not FIRE by any means but probably closer than when I had first started watching. I still check in from time to time just to see if any new card news catches my eye. Wishing you all the best 🍔

My main credit cards that I usually use are Venture X, Amex Hilton surpass and Chase aero. What do think?

I have the misfortune of living in LA which means my home airport is one of the worst of any major city, plus the Centurion Lounge is possibly the worst one I have been in. Now it’s still fairly decent, but it’s in the Bradley Terminal which means if you’re not flying out of that terminal, good luck getting to it. 😂 🍔

The problem with lax is there are no priority pass lounges so of course no one can get into the centurion unless you are willing to wait an hour or get there as soon as it opens.

How many credit cards would you recommend getting a year? I got 2 including the Venture X within the past 2 months but the Amex offers are extremely tempting. I can't really find a solid answer

FLL has Delta SkyClub, United Club and Escape Lounge.

🍔 1) The HND lounge might feel like the American Embassy because we have so many platinum cards 2) The Schwab thing doesn’t affect me because I ain’t that rich. I just wish the SUB was better because I’m a Schwab loyalist and I love their products.

Just flew asiana biz from Korea. There was a free “relax zone” at ICN, but I went to the biz lounge, they had spaghetti and french fries and no seats available. Lounges are a joke now unless it’s a first class lounge. I’d rather pay for food and find a nice row of seats to chill out on in the airport.

Can you have multiple Schwab plats? And if yes then does this double the redemption limit?

Lounges in HND are notoriously crowded. (At least the star and OW business lounges. I’ve seen the NRT first ANA lounge packed too.) This lounge may be more crowded than Amex expects.

The Schwab devaluation is no big deal. I doubt many cash out more than 1 million points per year.

🍔Amex lounge with Japanese food and drinks would be really nice. US folks are too spoiled on credit card fees. Don’t hate me, just stating the facts after learning about credit card fees in Asia.

🍔 As someone who lives in Kanto and has a US Platinum, I'm glad to see a Centurion Lounge in Tokyo. I just live much closer to Narita, and wish it was in Narita instead. But I do fly out of Haneda from time to time. Might pick up one of the Hilton cards. I have status on Aeroplan so I'm waiting until it falters before pulling the trigger on the Chase card. Since it comes with built-in 25K status, I'll wait until I need the status boost before getting it. No points offer makes sense, as every single card in my wallet transfers to Aeroplan already. BORGEOR! NOM NOM NOM.

Sebby, can you do a video on who hotel co branded cards are good for? I mainly do domestic and hit or miss travel. could be 1 room a year for a night. could be 1 room for a week. I recently found that I got way better redemption from the Capital one portal then I did if I transferred. be awesome to see your take on it.

Not really worth it for domestic trips unless you're traveling once a month or so to take advantage of the executive lounges and upgrades. Once a year is really tough to justify.

Amex you need about 3 new lounges at lax because there are no priority pass lounges.

If your business is racking up MR on business spend, you really shouldn’t be cashing out to a personal Schwab account anyway. Still can get business plat and cash out to business account at 1cpp.

🍔 Schwab card has been a Someday item for me, but otherwise unaffected by these changes. // Other news, got my Robinhood Gold Card today. My CFU is likely to be sock drawered.
