Totally agree. YG doesn't usually have artists/trainees with this wistful and melancholy voice but done right it's great. I think the closest similar was from former Winner member Nam Taehyun who had a higher tone but with a comparable sentiment/quality.

for me, yeongue's voice is like the male version of jisoo's voice. very soft but deep, makes me melt.. while jeongwoo's voice is like rose's voice, their vocals are very unique and pleasant to hear.

When I watched this performance, I realised that i wasnt mad at all that yeongue didnt debut. I felt like there is a place for him somewhere else and that his time to shine will come by soon. No, it isn't because he wasn't talented, he was. But i feel like there is a gut feeling to who fits better in the concept of the group their trying to debut. Trust me, yeongue will be known one day mark my words.

개인적인 생각으로 정우는 되게 노래를 시원시원하게 부르는 느낌인 것 같고 연규는 듣는 사람 마음이 편한 느낌인듯?

Crisped Fry I know! I am so surprised at how many people don’t see that pure and natural talent that he handles nearly to perfection. He did not get the hype he deserved. I like jeongwoo and his singing is great, but his performance skill could use some work, and Yonggue handles both his singing and performance wonderfully.

You know what's interesting? Most English commenters seems to prefer JungWoo, but almost all of the Korean comments prefer YeonGyu. I personally believe YeonGyu has a much nicer voice.

I'm super duper happy cause today I hear a good news that YEONGUE still YG trainee🤧 This perfomance is my favorite from YTB ever cause my two bias on one frame,I really miss the moment they're teasing and have happy moment together. They always remind me to CHAELISA , they fight sometimes but they really love each other and be good friend💙 YEONGUE I'm still here waiting for your debut,I miss you and waiting for JEONGUE moment again💙

If you are fond of yeongue voice too, you must hear his english cover song entitled "Let Me Love You". He really has too much emotion in his voice, i am so inlove w/ that cover. His new screen name is Kim YeonKyu, he is in a survival show now entitled "THE ORIGIN A,B OR WHAT".

연규목소리는 진짜 인디스러운 음악에 너무 잘어울림.. 볼사, 딘, 숀, 로시 노래뷰르면 진짜 잘 어울릴듯.. 들으면 들을수록 사람마음을 편하게 해쥼..💚 정우도 잘하는데 이노래는 솔직히 연규가훨씬 잘 어울렸음 특히 연규가 노래부르고 정우가 애드립하는 부분에 정우목소리는 되게 안어울렸음 정우는 미쳐나게처럼 비트있는 댄스음악에 훨씬 잘어울림
