This is really heartbreaking but I wish the best for Ahyeon and hope she can rest. I will also support the remaining amazing girls in Babymonster as they debut and follow their journey

They could just mean that she can't participate in this comeback. Some people were trying to figure out what the 6 lockers meant and this is what people have come up with: 03 = countries represented in BABYMONSTER, 01 = 1st title track, 37 = the song is produced by Choice37, 17 = the average age of the members, 08 = BABYMONSTER is the 8th group to debut under YG, and 07 = the number of members in BABYMONSTER. BABYMONS7ER is used for the 7 member group while BABYMONSTER I would think be used for any of the sub-groups from the members. It is also mentioned in the article that they hope she will return in good health. So more than likely if she recovers and can perform again, she most likely will comeback with maybe the next BABYMONSTER comeback. Or at least that is what it seems like what they are hinting at.

I think there is an article from YG confirming that she’s still a member of BabyMonster and that she’ll join the group later on after the debut, she just have to recover from whatever health condition that is. Honestly i felt devastated after hearing the news, dont know what to feel whether to be happy for their debut or be sad because they’re not 7. But hopefully she can comeback sooner. She’s my bias and im already attached i need her to the group 🥲

I am devasted! This is my first and biggest heartbreak in my 3-year kpop journey! She was my bias and likely my ult female bias. Ahyeon was the main reason I was going to stan this group. I will watch and tune into their debut but that's about it. I won't purchase content or watch behind the scenes. As much as I desperately want her to return I honestly don't think she will return regardless of that statement. I will never watch or get into pre-debut content from YG EVER again. I also will never forgive YG for making us wait in limbo giving us false hope. I hope she gets better and heals but the situation isn't going to go away if she decides to debut at a later time or another group.

Ah I can def remember the first time something like this has happened in my Kpop journey and it does really suck 😢 it sadly happens a lot in this industry. Even Jinni leaving Nmixx was devastating to me. But this group should still be really good and hopefully Ahyeon will eventually debut sometime!

Hope she will be recovered and get back to follow her dream whether in a group or soloist, I’ll always support baby monsters ❤

Another thing I find weird or want to add is why wouldn't they put her on a hiatus instead of removing her from the group if it's for health reasons.

Well some people think that’s actually what they’re doing. That she won’t debut now but will for their next comeback. Fingers crossed

They removed her from the debut lineup. I would think that they would use a hiatus if the group had already debuted. The "health reason" is the question for the reason that she is not debuting with the group. Some people think that it is a vocal chord surgery but I personally think that it is for mental health. She disappeared when the controversy for using the "n" word then there were also other factors that were pressuring her like being the leader of a group the YG expects to debut like BLACKPINK having "ALL KILL" in the charts. So imagine being 16 years old having to deal with that pressure and then having negative and toxic people on social media telling you that you should go kill yourself because she used the "n" word. So YG is leaving it open for her to comeback when she feels she is ready. That makes the most sense to me why it is kind of worded that way.

@@JamesKaneshiroDesignSamurai I think it’s mental health due to the contorversy but the thing is that will never go away and she will always be made accountable for it even if she decides to comeback. I do believe some people take it too far and death threats are not necessary. In the end she doesn’t have to read online comments. The people who want to support will support her will support her. She hasn’t been seen since July. Will have to wait and see I guess but my expectations are very low so I don’t get more hurt.

@@TheCutestChris18 There was also something else that it could be considering the timeline. When we see BLACKPINK videos people praise it for using a lot of practical effects rather than using CG, so it could also be that she got injured during the filming of their original title track. What would fit the reason that she is not back for debut is that she broke a bone and if it was in the leg then it would make sense since she would have to go through physical therapy after the bone started to mend. But whatever the case maybe, I hope that she can recover and return to the group. I think that the group is better well rounded with all 7 members.

@@JamesKaneshiroDesignSamurai interesting theory but I don’t think it’s that. I don’t think they would put their artist in danger that way there has to be safety measures. I do get accidents happen as well. If she was physically injured she could still be on the song.

Its devasting. There was so much promotion and marketing for 7 members. People were screaming for joy when they teased only 5 but choose to debut 7. Her not being with the group is heartbreaking. Ontop of everything we dont know if blackpink will come back. Its a sad end to the year. I really hope ahyeon surprises everyone and debutes for their next song release.

Me too I really hope she's just not debuting right now but will go on to debut with their first comeback!

But how sad she lost a true complete artist, she was Ahyeon, now YG will be hitting it in the pot hahaha, I didn't expect it since yesterday 😢😢😢😢
