YFZ450 30+ IATVHSS Rd2 "Hog Heaven" ATV XC Racing - GoPro Helmet Cam 2019
Jumped on a built Sport Quad for the PM ATV 30+ Class at the Iowa ATV Hare Scramble Series in Murray, Iowa on June 9th 2019. Racing Nick's 2012 Yamaha YFZ450 build from 2017/2018. Haven't made any adjustments to the machine yet, and the throttle gave me some pretty bad thumb fatigue, to say the least, which didn't allow for very fast racing - sorry!! Better luck next time I guess. Results: #905 Michael Loehner 1st (14th Overall), #279 Mikele Farmer 2nd (26th Overall), #373 Kile Coleman 3rd (29th Overall), #82 Mark George 4th (38th Overall), #72 Sean Stratton 5th (43rd Overall out of 47). at some point in a race you get so far back you've just gotta enjoy the ride lol
Half hour before a race take 2 extra strength Tylenol. This reduces forarms from tensing up and thumb throttle fattig

Is a ltr450 good for these races around Iowa or Trx450 due to width?
Rotate your throttle lever down a bit. That will help the thumb fatigue.
