I think YETI put off making this specific cooler for some time knowing it would probably kill the market for the Flip and the other hard coolers bc this is THE no brainer cooler to take with you everyday. I currently own Flip 8 and 12 coolers but had this come out sooner, I’d have spent the money on just THAT ONE Roadie 15 which proves my point. Also recently grabbed the Tundra 35 and Roadie 24 during the Camp Green sale. But with the 15 having come out now, I’m sending the Roadie 24 right back and keeping the Tundra 35

You have a great cooler line up. And this is such a solid point here. I’ve also bought the flip 3 times but kept thinking one day the flip will have a magnet instead of zipper or they will just finally make a small hard cooler

Just received my roadie 15, and the build quality is crap compared to the 24... but it does have a drain. The quality is bad enough that I'm going to contact Yeti thinking that I may have gotten a lemon. So you might want to hold on to that 24 until you see the 15 in person.

I used to think yeti was overpriced and overrated. Some people might still think so but I’m a fan of yeti. I had a Stanley 7qt cooler for day trips. After 9 months of using it every weekend for fishing and camping trips, the gasket seal fell off and the handle broke. I used gorilla glue to fix the seal but it was never the same. I also bought REI’s soft coolers for $40 and they started to leak after a few months. You get what you pay for. I ordered the roadie 15 in big wave blue and I can’t wait! Thanks for your review

@@JoeyScottMediaexactly. Some of my friends think yeti is bougie but I’m all about quality over quantity. The amount of money I’ve spent on cheap coolers that have failed me probably would have paid for 2 roadie 15s by now lol

100% man. It’s really a personality thing. I don’t like buying things twice and I don’t buying things in general. Pay up get a Yeti and love it. That’s my mindset

I’m real interested in a day cooler for 1 person. This roadie 15 or the hopper flip 12/18 seems like the best yeti’s. Do you have any experience with the hopper flips?

I have the M30 hopper. The Biggest hopper. I made a video on this, long story short. Hopper and flips are maintenance nightmares that’s why I don’t like them. You have to clean more often and there no drain for easy cleaning. The flip 12 would be easier to clean to be fair. If you don’t clean the lining it can become moldy over time. And if this happens to the lining it’s way harder to get out then plastic hard cooler Day cooler wise. I’m telling ya check out the roadie 15. I’m a hard cooler guy and this thing is perfect day cooler. Also maybe check out Facebook for the old roadie 20. Steele handle. That’s thing is a beast. Flip 12 will be lighter but roadie 15 still light and will hold ice better Can’t go wrong with yeti product are yeti product. It’s just preference

Ahh man idk. I’ve been thinking on this for days. My 45 is the old school light blue and I love it. I was potentially thinking white with stickers, but idk hard for me to add stickers to a yeti. So maybe red or just wait for a seasonal. How about you? Give me some inspiration haha

I’ll tell ya. I was worried about the red. Sometimes red can look orange or pink but it’s a solid fire engine red to my eyes My guess is in fall they will bring whole new wave of seasonal. Maybe KCO is there
