Good review Zach. I'd love to see you compare it to the Ortlieb zippered bag. I love mine. I think it has many of the qualities you discuss. Not as bomber though.

I might pick one up because I get pro deals on them. I wonder how many 75L we can fit on a minimax as R2.

I have had the zipper separate on my Yeti Panga waterproof bag, still have to try and see if Yeti will repair it.

You know that you can buy tsa master keys for those locks right and they are pretty easy to break. Im just cruious what you see as the benefit to using one? Are you worried about non-tsa employees stealing form your bag? I feel like if there was someone working there who did this that a bag lock would just point out that you have valuables.

Man this showed up at a horrible time! I was about set on the Watershed Yukon! My biggest hold up with Watershed was the back pack straps. I wish Yeti was not so pricey and covered in the branding though. Any chance you could do a capacity comparison between the Colorado and Yukon?

Don’t do it… I’ve had 3 of them and the zipper will eventually go out.

I love Yeti but I refuse to pay these prices. I have dry bags I picked up over a decade ago for nothing (100 bucks for 3 or 4) and they still work, they are practically brand new, despite tons of rough camping trips. I can't imagine paying $400 for one bag.

I'm stuck between the Panga 75L or the Kuiu Kodiak 3000. I'm sure both are gonna be good out here in British Columbia but when I'm spending big money on this sort of stuff I want the best. Anyone have experience with both or either?

Yeti products are unnecessarily expensive and they are marketed towards “the outdoor community”, but their target marketed is actually people with too much money and no time in the outdoors to realize that there are products for FAR less money that do the exact same job.

It’s a premium outdoor product no shit it’s expensive. They aren’t the only premium outdoor brand. I like them for longevity. It’s about being conscious with your products to make sure you’re not needlessly consuming and adding to landfills.
