This whole song is to show the Lords faithfulness toward His beloved children. He is a promise keeper, and in Isaiah 41:10 The Lord says, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Our God has a track record of fulfilling His promises, so when He says do not fear for I am with you - we have to believe with our hearts that the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the One Who created the Heavens and Earth, The One who wandered over the face of earth when it was formless, the One who created you and I in His perfect image fearfully and wonderfully is setting aside His greatness to make sure you do not fret on life’s troubled times.
Such a delight to listen to the promises made by God Himself - He is an Almighty One who has everything in His Hands, the earth is His footstool but yet He chooses to have an individual relationship with you to come so near to you to promise you NOT TO FEAR!!
