I was at hospital when Karen passed away. It was very sad that day. No one can ever replace such a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. ❤

Tony vou sang beautifully and paid tribute for the best interpreter for me of all times, this pays off already. GOD bless you and congratulations , huge auduence. Well deserved. What it happens is that Karen was out of this World. I Heard sua singinging with Ella Fitzgerald and Ella dusappeared, any voice next to her. She had imcomparable voice but ypu honoured her beautifully too God BLESS you and Thank you

Timeless classics. Evokes so many emotions for millions of people. As I sat here missing my wife who passed away 12 years ago, left me with two young boys at that time. 😔

Toni, this performance brought me to tears. One, for the joy of hearing you sing it so well, and Two, for the loss of the angel that was Karen. My yesterday just came back to haunt me in a good way. Thank you. Fabulous voice!! The orchestra is pretty danged good, too!!

The songs Karen carpenter sang were the framework for her voice. It was her voice that was special and her voice that forced people to keep hitting the replay button. Others can do a nice job singing those very same songs, but the magic isn't there.

When I was young I'd listen to the radio Waitin' for my favorite songs When they played I'd sing along It made me smile. Those were such happy times And not so long ago How I wondered where they'd gone But they're back again Just like a long lost friend All the songs I loved so well. Every Sha-la-la-la Every Wo-o-wo-o Still shines Every shing-a-ling-a-ling That they're startin' to sing's So fine. When they get to the part Where he's breakin' her heart It can really make me cry Just like before It's yesterday once more. Lookin' back on how it was In years gone by And the good times that I had Makes today seem rather sad So much has changed. It was songs of love that I would sing to then And I'd memorize each word Those old melodies Still sound so good to me As they melt the years away. When this first came into the charts i was a paperboy back home in Sheffield and heard this while i was on my round one morning, it so cheered me up as it was a Winter's day, very cold and damp! I've loved it every since as i love Karen "Now" i'm getting old (63). Thanks so much for bringing this memory back to life, and my top Carpenters song

A really fine tribute to the Carpenters! Very nicely done!

I saw The Carpenters in concert about 1977 in Longview, TX at the high school. I loved Karen’s beautiful and flawless voice. Since she passed away as she did, hearing her recordings brings a certain sadness. Pretty and happy Toni Lee is doing such a fine job singing “Karen’s music” that she brings back fond memories of the songs while also diminishing any sadness of The Carpenters ending the way they did. Thank you, Toni Lee!

Wow, Wow, Wow. You knock it out of the ballpark. You sang soo beautifully. The only rendition I've heard that was slightly better was by Karen Carpenter, as she had a unique lightness in her voice that I've never heard since. Love the opportunity to see you in concert live if you ever tour the US.

Beautiful rendition of this song Toni. Looks like it was filmed at Cork Opera House. Your version is almost perfect. I am sure Karen is looking down and applauding. I know there will never ever be a voice as good as Karen's in my lifetime but you do an excellent job in bringing back those memories we all carry with us when Karen was singing live.
