Ummm no... House mixes of Mariah in the 90s were top tier, this one is not bad (like how everyone makes it seem like) but its average and its the usual remix in todays gen... Using the same song, same vocals and pasting new vocals from the featured artist only. 90s House Mariah was on a different level, it was a rerecord, 10 minute dance craze and David Morales or the C+C Music Factory would always bring the fire in every song. This is just 2024 Max Martin House Music capitalizing on the Renaissance album success.

honestly, HERSTORY was made with this collab. a mother & daughter duet. on the mariah carey fanpages, people were sharing the rumors about this collab and a lot of us were so sceptical, myself included. when i was the photo on ig of them together, heads touching, serving "yes, and?" expressions... i was speechless. i am so happy as a huge lamb and an arianator.

I'M HERE, AND I'M SAT. I absolutely ADORED this remix!! Their harmonies were just so unbelievable and it's just such a beautiful full circle moment for Ari 🥲 Also, as a person from Gen-z, I've always wanted to explore her catalogue, because even if I may not know a lot about her discography, I know the great impact she had on our faves and in music in general!! 🤍

Kids don't get how legendary Mariah is. I remember watching Heartbreaker mv on MTV when I was like 7, and she was already an icon back then. There's a reason why every decent vocalist idolizes her. When I first heard Ariana's debut album in 2013, I thought her music sounds a bit like Mariah's, and that's why I liked it. Her breathy vocals, her layering - it's all MC's influence

It’s not that her vocals are “more present.” It’s that her voice sounds like it was just placed on top of the original track and that’s it. It doesn’t sound like they tried to edit the song at all to at least mesh together. There’s a difference between being “more present” and “loud.”

Mariah’s voice has changed drastically over the years, but her vocal range hasn’t. The song itself is meant to sound a little distorted, like the original. Ethereal and beautifully produced. 👑

@@Tied348 Singing on the regular contributes to reaching the notes comfortably, you can tell when that’s been done or not. With proper warmup AND timing, she sounds like Emancipation. So I have to disagree. She still has 5 octaves.
