Please react to CLC who are under the same company as them and even more badass. I recommend Black Dress and Hobgoblin. Also the rapper (Soyeon) is super popular because she participated in a reality show called produce 101 back in 2016 which created the group IOI (Wanna one was also created on the show). Unfortunately she didnt make the group but was hella hyped as an amazing rapper the entire show.

brig CLC are extremely badass.

In English its pronounced as just Idle, the g being silent (probably why the parenthesis), the korean is (Yeoja) I-Deul which pretty much translates to Girl Idols, the later part being phonetically the english I and the hangul for deul. The leader and main rapper Jeon Soyeon has a couple of solo tracks, her debut was called Jelly and her comeback is called Idle Song, which had a whole bunch of hints about the creation of this group, definitely worth checking out if you have the time. She also composed, arranged and wrote the 2 previously mentioned songs aswell as Latata. They don't have any official roles yet, we still waiting; rest of the members are: Soojin - Vocalist in the pink Minnie (Thai) - Bangs and the unique slower vocal YuQi (Chinese) - Cutie with the deep voice Miyeon - Vocalist that took the chorus, shes ex-YG and was in the lineup for Pink Punk, the group that eventually became BlackPink, she was fired for dating another trainee which is against yg rules. Shuhua (Taiwanese) - Long dark haired beauty A few of these members are actually pretty well connected with other kpop artists, Soyeon was on Produce 101 she finished 20th and most considered her the most talented trainee on the show but she was also dubbed "to ugly to be an idol", she joined PD101 with Eunbin of CLC. Minnie being Thai is pretty good friends with both Blackpink's Lisa and CLC's Sorn, Miyeon being ex-yg, trained with the current Blackpink members.

I LOVE THEM ALREADY.

*Its a good song because it was composed by Soyeon (the leader) (your bias) and Big Sancho.* Sure companies don't give good songs to new groups for there debut, but they dont need to worry if the artist writes their own 😂😂 Soyeon also choreographed the dance along with Soojin (the cat mask girl at start). Soyeon is my bias too and for a good reason.

basically the story behind Miyeon is that she was rumored to have dated and was kicked out of YG because of it (this was never confirmed tho). and yes, she was one of the five other girls who were planned to debut with/as Blackpink (or the rumored second group YG was going to debut) throughout the "predebut period"
