Tbh there are a lot of teens that act older because that's all you see online is adults acting that way, but u gotta realize that people mature with experience not always age. If someone who's 13 did and seen more things than a 20 year old, that 13 year old might end up more mature even tho they're still a kid.

Soyeon has always tackled real issues and also had some fun with her songwriting talent. The fact that other songs are more poetic and metaphoric doesn't take away the seriousness of the topics she wants to bring forth to the listeners. She's only being less metaphoric, and more explicit with her music. (apparently that's the only way for some people to understand what her songs are about)

I love how allergy and queencard are actually like a two episodes of a series, just as soyeon said it to be. Allergy is about hating yourself and being insecure about everything you do. Queencard is about boosting confidence and genuinely loving yourself the way you are. Both MVs line up perfectly into one beautiful story.

I feel like this is how Soyeon once felt, especially during Produce 101. Her skills were clearly up there but people only commented saying she wasn’t pretty compared to the other contestants. But you can clearly see how far she’s come with every new song released. As a whole, the girls have all become significantly more confident since debut. 🥹

I’m liking the message on both allergy and queencard. How in allergy, the fans want to be like the IG models yet the IG models themselves have their own issues that they hide themselves. In queencard , it is basically that you are beautiful no matter how you look.

The whole “Why am I not perfect” concept is probably one of the best yet. The message that this song portrays is truly something that I haven’t ever seen before. It's weird because the MV looks bright but when you realize how deep it cuts you, you start to cry. I started imagining this was what Soyeon had to go through during Produce 101.
