Thank you as an OT and mother of adult wheelchair user.
Thank you for producing this. It helps me to know what to be prepared for and encouraged me to realize that even being overweight and having bad knees, I'll be able to still really enjoy the trip. Tomorrow starts Yellowstone "diet" and exercise program!

You’re very welcome. Hope your trip is fantastic.
So true. Yellowstone is enjoyable at any age. My next trip will be to just go, sit, watch, and take it all in as much as time allows.

Thanks you Sergio!!!
This was a really informative video. We have a young adult with cerebral palsy who is in a wheelchair and I am happy that we will be able to explore the park, to some extent, beyond the visitor's centre and the van.

Have a great time!
I just now found this video. Thank you for making videos like this. I travel to Yellowstone often and I have mobility issues with back and legs (nerve damage). I can't walk very far at one time but after a short rest I can then go further. Stairs are a major obstacle for me. I' use Google maps satellite view to look at boardwalks for benches or at least a railing to lean on for a rest. It's not easy to tell what is there. I watch your videos and pay close attention to where you walk so I have an idea of what to expect. I need a backpack version of a small chair just in case. Luckily, I got to visit Yellowstone when I was younger and able to do much more. But that means I know what I am missing. Keep up the great videos as I watch many of them for places on my travel list.

Are mobility scooters allowed?

Yes, they are allowed. You'll mostly be on paved walkways or boardwalks, depending on the area.
I am disabled and going to Yellowstone from California, but not sure which entrance will be the best. Any recommendations? Thanks

Hi Claudia, if you're coming from California, you'll drive up I-15 and enter through West Yellowstone entrance. There is no reason to enter any from any other entrance unless you want to visit Grand Teton first, and even then, you might still enter through West Yellowstone. I have a map on my GT post that talks about how to get to GT. wereintherockies.com/grandteton/. Anyway, you may want to consider entering from West Yellowstone, but then moving locations at some point, like to Gardiner, for example. Our website has a guide to Yellowstone and it covers how to see the park from different places. Thanks for watching! Hope you love your trip!
