can we just give all the props to these amazing young actors?? they have been absolutely killing it this season. holding their own with veterans like the adult cast.

Yes!! And working so closely with these veterans; actors, directors, etc are only going to make the younger actors better. This show is phenomenal and everyone involved is amazing. All of them will continue to better themselves. Great comment. You are correct in my opinion.

That’s true but they’re also not teenagers themselves. Most are in their mid 20s and have been acting since childhood. They’re professionally trained adults as well. It’s not that surprising that they’re as skilled as they are.

@@DM-it1qf they're still young actors in their prime that haven't done many big roles. i just think they are doing so amazing and should be given all the props. the adult actors are the most talked about because they have been in the business for decades and have tons of great projects in their history. i'm just continually blown away by their performances.

the writers have confirmed that Taissa was in her fugue state and doesn't consciously know that she eats Jackie. So when she wakes up next episode, i think shes going to completely flip out and be super angry at everyone.

This makes sense. I was really surprised that there wasn't at least one person struggling with the thought. I thought it would be Nat or Tai, but neither said anything. Even the coach didn't stop them. He just got scared seeing them ravenous and hid

one of the very best tv episode so far this year. the way the writers led the story to this banquet is so creative but also inevitable at the same time. good job, writers' room!

@@tymac9127 Yes, but that’s about it. I love HBO & SHO, but HBO doesn’t produce as many hits as they used to. Most of their stuff is bland lately (as with other streaming services since the market is saturated) & they offer way too many “woke” projects. That being said, when HBO comes out with a hit, it’s pure Gold, like Succession!!! 🤩🤩🤩

But rooting for Yellowjackets because Showtime have a certain charm to their shows idk they made Shameless and it's one of my favourite shows. They can do this

@@aahana4931 Right. But that’s about it. Those series are massive hits, but I remember when HBO’s entire platform was full of hit movies, series, docs, etc. I will always love HBO, but the market is so saturated now cuz everyone wants a piece of the pie.

The scene was done so well it’s so haunting

The cast really went ALL OUT during the savage eating scenes. They were enjoying themselves at the feast, especially Courtney spitting up wine, while tearing apart the cooked Jackie corpse to pieces 🐝⚽️🛩️🥩😱

The final scene is my favourite from the show so far. It was done SO WELL, the parallels, the acting, the make up, the props. I heard in an interview half of them threw up on set while filming because of how real it was

So excellent, this show should be winning every award next season - awesome - really no words for how amazing it all is, and those involved in bringing it to us, the audience are, truly thank you for this next-level show!!!!!!

I appreciate the show runners making that last scene more “palatable.” However, that scene was still hard to “digest.”

I really hope they make a featurette on the music this season because it's been so. Damn. Good. And last season's music choices were already a really high bar. I'm never gonna be able to listen to "Climbing Up the Walls" or "Cornflake Girl" the same way. 💀🐝

Coach Ben starting to feel like a pile of mashed potatoes at a hunger strike.

This is one of the best story lines on cable right now! I'm all in and can't wait to see what's going to happen next! I have so many questions

I dont know we had a similar situation in the real world and I really much sympathize with these plane crash victims...I think that we are all capable of this under these circumstances , if you are starving for months then you can even start to have illusions where you illusinate that your friend os food :D its not very shocking to me but I also think that not all characters need to be sympathetic always...we have had some very unsympathetic protagonists like Walter White and so on :D

Just saw it today. I didn't realize that Jackie looked like a roast chicken to them. They were eating her like it was a KFC marathon. I was shocked at first. Ben was horrified.

Most anticipated episode....worth the wait. ✨

She's said in interviews that she wanted to cut her hair in real life anyway so she asked the show to write it in that she cuts her hair in season 1

If the intention was for us to sympathise and be moved by what happened in ep 2, it sort of backfired. I would have been more understanding if they were on the brink of starvation, but they still weren't. Not yet. Also the fact that they decided to cremate Jackie right in front of the cabin was ridiculous. They were okay with the idea of smelling burning flesh? That's disturbing. Their coach didn't try to stop them. He didn't try to be the voice of reason. I thought Nat would at least have some misgivings if no one else did, but no. They didn't seem to wrestle with the choice enough. I did like the clever intermingling of reality with the surrealism of them dressed like ancient Greeks fasting.

I have to agree, I don't think there was enough internal struggle shown, they fell into it way too quickly. However, there clearly is a supernatural, other worldly element about the place that they crashed in. Like it turned Jackie's cremation into a slow roasting thing instead. If we keep the supernatural theme, maybe the scent that them wafted up was so beguiling/bewitching they were compelled to do it like the forest wanted them to. It subverted expectations a little bit because it seems like they came to do these inhumane things less out of necessity and more because of spirits. But now that they've tried this taboo thing once, it'll be easier for them to just doing it again without the need of these outside forces and Shana was on her way already. Coach is absolutely the next victim, they've learned all they can from him and now he's more so dead weight than anything else.
