Hello ..i recently purchased ceylon pukhraj.. But in the test certificate except for the fact that it is from ceylon every property is mentioned.. I have purchased this at 78000 rs .. Kindly help me know whether I have been given the right gemstone or not? So gravity= 4, inclusion= natural, ref index= 1.76-1.77 Hardness = 9 moh

Natural does if it's not treated or heated but Ceylon sapphires are the best.

Yes, even I'm trying to tell the same thing here. Natural sapphires have the correct gravity. Even Bangkok sapphires are treated and Sri Lanka too, heated sapphires looses it's gravity whereas natural wont, I know the price comparison of Bangkok and Ceylon sapphires, according to you Ceylon sapphires are cheaper than Bangkok lol please provide me if you have... I'm telling you again Bangkok sapphires have a lot of inclusions jisko bandh kehte hain.. it doesn't look beautiful until it has gone through thermal heat treatment or glass filling treatment. Sri Lanka sapphire has quality and less inclusions & no doubt ceylon sapphires are the most valuable sapphires... Even CVD is a diamond according to few gemologists because it has same properties and gravity infact its synthetic diamond, Natural word is used for gemstones which has mined and faceted without any treatment.. first you have to check the RI after that only we can go further for any conclusion like specific gravity and others things. Only by specific gravity no gemologist can decide so please stop promoting treated Bangkok sapphires it can be only used for jewelry purpose nothing else hope you understand.

According to me cylone Sapphire is not cheaper even not Bangkok once both cylone and Bangkok Sapphire depend on Quality price depends on Quality low Quality cylone Sapphire is less compare to Bangkok once
