reminds me of spring/ summer 2018. i was falling in love for the first time, and i listened to this song every day. i would stay out late and we would skate at the park, and then i would listen to this on the way home. one time i was in his car and i played him this song, bc i love showing him music, and he immediately knew the song and started singing along. life was a dream, the kind where the says burn together because each is the same, it was beautiful. god what i wouldnt give to go back to that time. i guess it’s just a memory. i miss the person he was.

The edits for this particular song/video are outstanding, especially the matching of the film action with the lyric "I looked you right in your eye, And asked you why it has to be this way" (even though the dialogue for this particular scene is not what you would expect it to be based on the clip that is used here). Having lost three family members to cancer within a three- year period, the film hits me hard every time I watch it.

I like this match up! I keep running into these cyborg videos from ca 2 years ago, pop into my feed magically! I’ve rarely if ever been disappointed with what I find.

i am so baked that i felt this on a spiritual level lol

trying to accept myself and everything that's been happening. idk why my girlfriend of 3 years suddenly broke up and then i find out she started dating my best friend. then lost my grandma, all my cats died suddenly all at once. got covid the 3rd time and i thought this was it. i was gonna die. then found out my father (who was never there in my life and still isnt) has a stepson who he gives all his love to and everything. all this in just 2 weeks. this song is giving me company for the time being. hope i take some important learnings from these waves of betrayal and come out stronger.
