Crazy how’s there’s less hate on switching genres due to Slim and Kells. Someone had to break the doors down and take all the gate till everyone caught up… I didn’t think I’d see it in my lifetime. I’ll be 38 this summer. I like this new direction he’s taking. I love his raps, but the singing and this new rock sound are where Yela really SHINES. I’ve been down with Yelawolf since Trunk Music (actually since he guested on Big Boi’s solo album back around 2010-2011), and this is his best material from what I’m hearing. Loving it! My mom was an old rocker. She lived in the fillmore auditorium where her bedroom was bowie and Alice cooper's dressing room when they came thru. She was a rocker all through the 80s when I was born. I can definitely relate
