Probly my fav song off TM3. ClassicYelawolf feels. Btw much love to Yela man, I’ll never forget the day I bought Trunk Muzik at FYE. Man that shit became the soundtrack to our lives not to mention it’s possibly the greatest mixtape of all time. Justine of those flawless pieces of music from start to end. There’s certain moments in life we hear certain music that stamps a time in our lives. And everytime we hear that shit it takes us back just wanna thank Yelawolf for being one of those rare artists who never changed who he was for nobody

Yela blends everything on TM3. ‘Drugs’ sounds like it could have been off Love Story. Then you got a song like ‘Special Kind Of Bad’ which is almost a hybrid between old school Trunk Muzik Yela and Love Story Yela and then you got ‘We Slum’ which sounds like he could have released it in 2009/10 and it would still fit his sound. Unreal versatility covering the entire span of his musical journey. Now that’s a true artist.

So happy in the expense of the universe that I got to share this spec of time with Yelawolfs music. He has so much more to offer than pop the trunk or let's roll. Kinda dig the fact he's a bit of a hidden gem. I've been to so many hundreds of gigs in my life time but I'll never forget the experience of my £15 ticket to see him at Manchester UK many years ago. Hung around his tour bus with a few cans of Stella and met the legend himself and grabbed a selfie. Yela isn't just music. He is a full mood.
