I think you mean that Eminem is using the same tone of voice he used on Recovery. In this verse, he rapped at the yelling level of his voice. That doesn't necessarily mean that he had the same flow.

Eminem a my favorite rapper, but even I got to say they were at the least equal on this song, and I might give the edge to yelawolf. Yelawolf is proving himself to be more then just a rapper, every song that's come out so far from love story is stellar, his best work. Comparing him to eminem isn't even fair bc their completely different artists with different styles. Yelawolf sings while rapping, and makes it sound amazing and give off vibes that make you think. Eminem, recently, has been all about fast, loud, and lyrical. Both are great, and I think on this song em proved he can still flow as well and tell a story as his early days. Still, yelawolf was huge on this song, and as much as I like eminem and this song, I actuall enjoy Till I'm Gone more

2pac has the best lyrics because they're the most memorable, and you keep coming back to them because he has the largest amount of *relatable* lyrics. I agree that Eminem is the rhyme king because his bars rhyme so well that it sounds like he's saying the saying thing over and over. You can't be best at everything. Can't be writing powerful lyrics while trying to make sure the whole song is nothing but flawless multi syllable rhymes, and you can't produce a club banger while eating sloppy ass whoppers.

Eminem artistic ability leaves me awestruck; how does he formulate words and create stories so cohesively while giving my ears the most original experience that can ever be displayed in rap form? Like his plight is so real and honest and the way he explains it makes you realize exactly what he's talking about. Being famous is probably cool for the first 3 months when the groupies, and the fans. But after that, that's your life and your stuck. Holy shit. Yelawolf's great performance aside, this delivery by Em just hit the spot. I know that no listener is in the best place to talk about which style an artist should pursue, but I think he's found the perfect balance. This is it.

Anybody else get the Clint Eastwood part? How he stopped beefing, but he still can and will and he mentioned the priesthood. That's like the old clint eastwood movie Pale Rider, where he gave up his life as a badass, became a priest and repented, then went ballistic when his family died, basically saying Eminem can still diss anyone and kill em all, when the time comes.. But definitely not in religion. It's wrong in so many ways. They know the end is near. They know that giving themselves up was a massive mistake and have finally turned to God and are being open about it. Eminem explains that his best friend is God and at the same time expresses his hate towards the devil. Amazing song.

If this song was to be resurrected... Eminem would just kill it again. Amazing rhyme schemes as always.

Everyone hating on this song and the flow, but this is an excellent track, there was nothing wrong with eminem's flow at all, or with yelawolf discussing something spiritual. You all want these artists to fit into your exact idea of who they are, when in fact, they are gonna be who they wanna be, and talk about what they want to, so either support them or don't listen to their music. I make music, and I prefer to have people not listen to me, then to comment on my songs telling me i need to change my style or to quit discussing one thing or the other.

If you look at my first song posted on my channel, then look at my most recent, huge amount of growth in style, skill, maturity, it's the same with every artist. Most of these haters couldn't spit a bar if they had hershey in their mouth

Dude. I completely understand exactly what you are saying! I wanted to say something but you already got it! Flows evolve, it's just what happens. Criticizing an artist for it is pointless, especially eminem. Really? Do these people actually think he cares about how he sounds? He makes fun of himself for christ sakes! I was skeptical with yelawolfs style, but I've begun to like it a lot. I'm glad he's not some sort of mainstream "turn up" artist, I love it!

lilsquirt9514 Yep it's about being original and being yourself. You do what you feel is right in your music, it's YOUR music. If you don't like what that artist is doing, stop following them, your the fan, not them.

T.I. Should've been on this. With his lyrical and real bars. And his best friend who was murdered when the bullets were supposed to kill T.I. I would've like to hear TIP on this one. That's the one thing missing.

Where are all the Atheists trashing the song because "Father, Son, Holy Spirit and Church" are mentioned? You know, the ones who love the artist but when words like that are brought up they pretend to hate the song, I see it happening all the time on less popular artist's songs, why not now? I personally love the song, I don't listen to Yelawolf but him and Eminem are a great mix for a song evidently.

Eminem says "your arch enemy, surrounds you now, he's all around you now", it is meant to show Eminem running around you really quick. Showing that he is surrounding you. Well, I think so anyway.

Em said it himself, if you think he's rapping too fast, then you're probably listening too slow. Loving the Em verse here. This man just can't be beat!

Yelawolfs new album is phenomenal if you like this song you'll like the rest of the album support that shit!

YelaWolf and Eminem were both amazing together. I'd never really listen to YelaWolf's songs. But I have to get him credit, he's actually pretty good.

when you compare em's talent with anyone else its ridiculous how much of a difference there is. Eminem is a fucking wizard!
