You are right, @hasanmalik9112! The first and second generation writing was amazing! Third generation was good too, up until they introduced toxicity! DKP needs to realize people watch yrkkh for the happy, lovely, wonderful feelings it used to invoke. That's the reason why Abhinav Sharma was such a huge hit, because he was a light hearted person. Because of Anupamaa and how big that toxic show has become, DKP thinks Rishta too needs to be just as toxic. Of course, Jhanak too, from what I heard, it is very toxic and that's why for weeks it was at #2 on trp list but the legacy that Rishta is, it needs to remain cheerful, loving, romantic, full of laughter, festivities, shaadis and kachoris! In generation 4, they completely disowned one of the biggest cast member of Rishta series, KACHORI! From gen1 we have been enjoying kachori scenes. Kachori is as important as the OST and dances, but in gen4, it is just a side actor, like the furniture! That's sad!
