I'd agree, but fact are we only find them "cool" or even tolerable is because we were told to think they're cool. If any other company made this, it wouldn't fly. Yezzy has the status to make an ugly shoe and convince you it something special. Making a ton of money doing so.

People warmed to the foam runners once they tried them on because they are super comfy and a great price. These are a lot more money and the two on feet reviews I have seen both say how uncomfortable they are and how badly they pick up dirt and can't be cleaned. Gotta respect Kanye for pushing the boundaries though

The silhouette itself is amazing. The yellow color I dig a whole lot, especially the way it seamlessly wraps around the entire shoe. My only complaint is the tan color they put at the top…… WHY?! I don’t understand the appealing contrast for those two colors. I will still be “trying” to get a pair eventually. I LOVE the 380’s so these will be a perfect alt.

To be honest It looks pretty cool but it gets dirty real quick due to how low the knits are extended to the sole. Plus since its so bright its gonna become a really ugly yellow with just a few wears. Especially during winter when the floor is damp. It's gonna make it black real quick. Definitely not gonna cop the knit runners due to this reason that it gets dirty real quick which will spoil the overall look

I tried these on and I don’t like it they actually aren’t comfortable and the toe area is compressed with a layer of foam resting against the top of your toes plus they stain easily which I’m afraid to clean since the layer of paint and tbh they are to bulky and oddly shaped to go with anything but sweats or baggy pants Im so disappointed but I was sold by the hype of the early release - ima keep wearing my FOAM RNNR CREAM CLAY which I think is the crazy sneaker Kanye made that comfortable as hell

TBH the shapes in all the new yeezys are generally the same (pause at 4:43 and you'll see what I mean). This colorway aint it for me but to each their own. I always like to see something different so props to Ye again for constantly trying new things. Hopefully the new basketball shoe will shake up the game some more and give us different shapes.
