The first notes you hear are heavy with bass harmony between Chance and Tim, with a supporting bass drone by Adam Rupp. We are so proud of Chance for writing and performing such a grand sea shanty for Skull and Bones. I cannot get enough of it.

Oh yeah, you can feel it in their concerts! The floor and seats shake and if you are near the subwoofers, the soundwaves go through you when Tim hits the lowest bass notes. Chance has some low notes too. It's quite the experience.

Everything vibrates when Tim hits those low low notes, I swear even my hair vibrated. They are Fabulous in concert, go see them if you can !!

I really like seeing this live version as it shows who is doing what parts. Tim & Chance are doing the really low notes in the beginning. Chance has his guitar & Austin is playing a mandolin. Adam is holding down the percussion sounds. And Austin & Rob are adding a fuller sound with their harmonies. Wish it was the longer version of the song.

Been to two concerts and I can say through experience Tim's bass bounces your body like a woofer.

Oh Tim was doing the insanely low notes. When in concert his voice goes through you and kind of rattles you. He and Adam (beatboxer) have broken speakers before. Lots of fun! Love this song!!!

Thank you for checking out the live version. When it comes to Home Free, I prefer lives, the studio versions seem to 'smooth out' the differences in the guys' voices. I love it when Opera Rob breaks through, Tim's bass overshadows for a second, Austin's sweet highs cut through, Chance's warm baritone sneaks out beyond the rest or some insane sound of Adam's shines.

Very interesting analysis, it was very informative because as a Home Fry I was focused on the boys and their voices. Tim’s bass is sick, Adam’s beatboxing is awesome and Rob and Austin sound like a full chorus. But Chance, he sounds so good on this and I love how happy he looks. He should be very proud of himself for writing this one! ❤

I got to see them live in December. When Tim drops the bass, it's like a whole wall hits you. It's phenomenal.

Their official music video, in costumes, is yet to be released. They are teasing it now, so it may come out at noon some Friday soon.

Adam Chance (playing guitar) apparently has always loved sea shanties so when Ubi-soft contacted Home Free for a sea shanty for their new game, they knew just who to write it. The singing, harmonies & beat boxing are terrific in this song. Chance has "A Whistling Lad" on his channel & it's terrific too.

PS - It's an older video (with Chris Rupp) but "Tim Foust's Vibrations" is a live video that will give you a visual of the impact of Tim's bass.

You can feel it in every bone in your body 👀👀😂😂😂. As far as making mistakes on stage…..I’ve been to 20 + HF concerts…when it happens it’s a joy and I’ve never seen or heard a negative remark about it. We know mistakes will lead to all kinds of brotherly ribbing at each other. I got a chance to fist bump Adam Rupp after he blew the sound system at a December concert after he dropped the bass. 🥰.

That isn't Tim's lowest note .. I experienced it live when they covered "Your Man"... We were in a large room with wooden risers on concrete floor.... Both vibrated when he hit it. Give a live version a listen.... It's FREAKY deep.

The only thing I don't like about this video is that we can't see the crowd's reaction! In my imagination, I see the crowd thinking, "Who are these five guys? I thought this was about a video game. Wait... they're singing... holy smokes, that's low... Oh. My. Goodness! That song, Wow! And that beatboxer! Dang, who are these guys and how do I get a copy of that song?!"
