Great video! I’m trying to integrate the J7 into HA. The few sets of instructions I’ve found are very complicated and require JS and Python. Please show us an easier way to retrieve its password and complete the integration.

Are you using the built-in iRobot integration? It was really easy to set up.

So basically this is ecovacs more affordable line since ecovacs does make this brand kind of like Toyota and Lexus yeedi is the Toyota an ecovacs is the Lexus I also think since they sent you the j7 plus they made this review. Kind of not fair because they're comparing a mopping vacuum robot to a non-mopping vacuum robot. What they should have done is sent you the newer version of the j7 plus that has the mopping feature then it would have been a little bit more of a fairer review

Yes I that is a good comparison. The Yeedi vacs don't use LIDAR for navigation so they can be built cheaper. I think the focus was the price point. At the time, the mopping version of the j7 was $200 more. But I think the Roomba mop was kind of goofy. I really like the T20s mopping system. Much better then the Yeedi's.

Roomba J7 doesn’t have carpet boost. It’s coming with J9

Hmmm. Because it does have a carpet sensor on board and I noticed a change in sound when the robot moves to carpet.
