My daughter introduced me to you Yebba, so special, you are. I am a true fan. By the way, I am 82 years old and so appreciate your golden voice.See we old folks recognize you young people.👍
I personally love the nervousness. It's so relatable and you already know she's a beast... So it shows a humility... Idk how to describe it. But i like it! She real 😘

Reduced to tears 😭 from this amazing 😉 outstanding vocalist, oh man she’s mind blowing 🌹
Yebba is vulnerable and precious live - and outrageously underrated.
How she can lose her place in a riff but pick it back up somehow and finish it even better is fucking mind blowing
3:34 Yebba take out the backup Singer out of the stratosphere with ALL that fragility, that proud loock girl! That was amazing Yebba! Well done forever!
Yebba just casually owning every note in the stratosphere!
Before, "American Idol...The Voice", no one cared about artist being *pitchy* . So many comments on here like you all are *judges* on talent shows. Let people be nervous, sing a note or two off-key. It's called being a *real human being* . Most likely, those who look for the imperfections are hard on themselves too. Be free.🌹

A Beautiful Journey Exactly! We know it wasn’t lip synched or anything and we still feel her emotion come across even better than if it was ‘perfect’ performance. And you can also hear the improvement of her voice in the upper registers and the few low notes compared to her my mind performance.
@cali.songbird

@@EdwardJermendi Yes, I share the same thoughts. This need for *perfection* has to be evaluated by individuals who've succumbed to society's pressure to do so. Or it will rob them of so much freedom as imperfect human beings. I'm glad you are free.🌹

Im haven't read all the comments.. however.. most people didnt know who she was until she sang my mind live. She touched the love and pain in the soul. This performance wasn't wat they were ust to hearing from her... she was definitely thinkin of her delivery as opposed to emoting to the song. As if she didnt relate or she overly related nd made her too vulnerable to emote.. either way.. I have to admit wen i first herd it I wasn't feelin it either.. it was still a good performance tho I liked it more the second time.. i haven't herd it since the first time I watched it maybe 2weeks ago.

@@kevinmoore9753 The only issue I have is some's need for perfection. And I blame talent shows like "American Idol",:etc. Imagine if some of our musical legends like: Louis Armstrong, Janis Joplin...had've auditioned in front of Simon. Yes, I am older than most on here, born in the 70's. Yet, I'm grateful for how free artists were because it taught me to love imperfections too.

It's spinning me around again Like a little girl in a pink dress, oh Darkness was my only friend Up until the moment we met, oh And I held you so close And you said Where do you go when you go? What do you take of your weary soul? Oh, where do you go when you go? Oh, I just wanna know It's spinning me around again Like a young girl in a prom dress, oh With all this worry in my head I'll stay up as late as I can, oh 'Til you come home, come home And tell me Where do you go when you go? What do you take of your weary soul? Oh, where do you go when you go? I just wanna know, yeah It's spinning me around again In and out of touch with the second hand Oh, time stops, and I'll go But tell me Where do I go when I go? What do I take of your weary soul? Oh, where do I go when I go? I just wanna know Ooh, I just wanna know I just want to, I just want to I just wanna know Ooh, I just wanna, I just wanna I just wanna The fire is burnin' Much brighter than before For you
Yebba's vocal gymnastics are AMAZING! So glad I found her. I will be listening for a long long time.
One of the most beautiful unique voices and so accomplished ,she can span all genres and sound amazing. ! Out of this world. !
It sounds like she isn’t as solid in her vocal confidence as she normally is. Nerves got the best of her for this particular live performance. This artist is phenomenal & I’ve watched her grow for years. May she have huge continued success!!!!

as others have also said, Yebba seems to be a bit nervous, holding back tears.. and as i just replied to someone else who was wondering what the lyrics might be about: possibly? she was thinking about her mother and on a spiritual level?. since she suffered for so long and then took her own Life.. if, so, i can imagine it would be quite difficult to sing that song.

I don't think it has anything to do with her being nervous. he is a beast, but I think as she has grown over the years, certain challenges with her voice types (everyone has challenges as such) have matured a bit and thrown her off a bit in terms of freedom and pitch accuracy, so she need to realize it, work on it to overcome that and she will regain what was lost.

It's probably because this song is dedicated to her Mom. Her Mom committed suicide just before her career started to take off.
She looks like Kelly Clarkson in this video!!
hauntingly beautiful 😢
It's like she was legitimately asking and feeling every word she was singing. This woman has a gift.
She is absolute quality.

I cannot get enough of Yebba.
Despite the nervousness yebba’s improv in this vid is next level. To continuously hit notes within different scales within her vocal runs and many of them sitting in different parts of her vocal register. Honestly I keep watching this over and over and my appreciation of her just keeps growing. Damn 2020 is exciting 🔥
her voice is heaven
I love you yebba... your Voice is amazing and you are beautiful. I am a fan ❤️

That blue eye shadow if poppin‼️💙
Half of me really wants her to be super super famous when another half just wants her to stay low-key like this to keep her to myself that I can boast to people like go listen YEBBA, mate. I LOVE HER.
Singing with in-ears is also very difficult to do / get used to. That’s probably one of the reasons for the “pitchiness.”
