Damn!! And I had my lucky 49er Socks on too!! And what era am I from? "I have my radio on" LOL
I had to buy another brake lever from Honda.
The first time was when I ran into a curb and dented my tank and now it broke again...ughh

keep your handlebars squared when coming to a stop.
Hey girl, just fyi: Some bikes have a safety feature where they won’t start after being dropped without being turned off and on again, nothing to be too worried about! Ride safe
Ohhhh man!!! Just saw this!!! The lady that jumps out, what a hero!! Ive "almost" dropped my Rebel at a stop sign. Trying to turn left going waaaaay to slow!! Stay safe!!

I know!! There still nice ppl in the world! Yeah, I'm all healed.
Hey, One thing you should look into is lowering your bike shocks and suspension, maybe an aftermarket low profile seat too. Shops other than Honda dealerships are usually much cheaper fyi. I'm lowering my bike just so I can flat foot properly. I've seen the same type of drop with way more damage that wasn't too bad, ride safe!
Hey buddy! Am I allowed to use your video on my channel? Credited ofc. Thanks in advance.

Thanks god you have the CRASHBARS!! or you would mess up the beautiful bike!!
“Uneven Stupid LA Street” would make a great name for a band.
Dropped my R1 a day after buying it in a very similar situation a few years ago, bent the shit out of the shift lever and cracked a good portion of the plastics, was pissed lmao. Hopefully you got it fixed and there wasnt too many more issues🙏

damn that sucks and yea LA streets are horrible
The oh shit moment when you put your foot down on an uneven or slippery ground and you lose that balance point war with gravity, worst feeling ever. Very good to see that you’re ok and still healthy enough to get home. Takes some good skills to do that physically and mentally. Let us know the damage when you can.

Hi there! It actually wasn't that bad once I got on the freeway. Luckily, I didn't have anyone cut me off. The only thing I had to replace was the hand brake. I had a little bruising on the hand, but it's all gone. My knee is fine with a little scab. I walked away. I got the new brake lever, so I'm good to go. Those brake levers are pricey 55.00 sheesh. Thanks for your post! Enjoy your Sunday!
I don't get it, what happened? Why did it tilt over? Are you not tall enough or is it that the bike is too heavy once it tilts and will cause this to happen?

Instead of going straight and splitting lanes like I should have. I went around to the right side of the cars so when I stopped my handlebars were turned. Any time you stop with the handlebars turned you will fall over. I couldn't straighten out the bars without falling. I could've hit the throttle, but there was too much traffic. I'm not that short...lol 5'5.
Hello, may I feature this clip in my next moto video? I will give you full credit in the description 😉

Yes.
I wonder if you had put it in gear and started moving if you could have saved it. Sorry to hear/see this happen. Glad it wasn't worse!

Thomas, you make a great point. I thought the same thing after the fact. If I had just put some throttle on and moved maybe I wouldn't have fallen. I think I was too focused on not letting it drop to think of moving. Also, I was worried about hitting the throttle and going into traffic. I wasn't really paying much attention to the traffic. Thanks for your comment! Something to think about for sure!
Hi, would it be nice to feature your clip in my next episode? Credited of course (watermark and link to your channel).

Hey! Would it be ok to feature your clip in a video we're making? You'll be credited with a on-screen watermark and in the description/pinned comment. Do you mind explaining what happened?

Yes, you can use my clip. Instead of lane splitting I went around the cars, but my handlebars were turned and I was on an uneven surface. I was struggling to hold the bike up and tried to lay it down easy, but as you can see it didn't work out.
Almost thought no one was gonna help out like whhat. Anyway bigger bikes are top heavy. I'm a 35 yr old man I drop mine if the angle is awkward enough. And the answer to your question of why this had to happen.. you already know, BIKE LIFE BABY RISE UP !!
o no hope your are going to be ok

Btw, I just put on my new mustang seat. Holy way better!

Right!?! I don't know why Honda put that lousy seat on to begin with. I guess it's a way for them to make money on their upgrade, but just makes them look shady when they do shit like that.
