What's original? this or Dubliners. I love Dubliners nights visiting song

@@staceynolan8577 I’m not sure which version is the original, but the Dubliners also recorded a version of this song as well. The Dubliners do I’m a Rover with a Scotts accent, so I wonder if this song is from Scotland and maybe The Night Visiting Song is the Irish version? Just a guess.

@@staceynolan8577 it's originally a Scottish folk song. Like many folk songs there are many slightly different versions. Luke and the Dubliners recorded the "definitive version" but that doesn't necessarily mean it is the correct or original version

Probably DADGAD or open D with a capo on fifth fret so it’s in the key of g major I guess
