The little stone house with the balcony filled with flowers is very pretty.

Many years ago I knew someone from Spain who was 94 years old when he passed away. He fought in the Spanish Civil War back in the late 1930s.

My grandfather did, they are just history. However, most of them don't like to talk about that, it's pretty sad for them to remember all the misery lived

It is truly peaceful and beautiful, and from the looks of it you’d think it’s perfect. Until you live there and realize, your neighbors Watch your every step every day and complain about it and don’t trust you. The infrastructure is literally crumbling under your feet and nobody will do anything about it even If you pay them. And massive trips for basic necessities. There is a good reason while most of these villages feel abandoned, it’s because they are.

Maybe it was between 2 and 5. Where I live it is quiet most of the day very quiet in the afternoons esp on summer when its hot. Evenings are noisy. Kids playing, families talking, proper human sized sounds though. Not rumbling traffic.

It's such a clean town and has so much handmade quality buildings! That's 10X better than most of the trash dwellings in rural parts of the US near me. There's a few smaller villages in Spain that were abandoned for a while, then have been refurbished by homesteading type people (small holding types, in the UK). Any chance you'd go film those? They may not be easy to find, and the residents do usually like to talk and tell their story, and how they love rural life.

What a dreamy village as nobody would have been lived here for many decades. Really , a wonderful place to live. Magical streets , terraces , houses ,every thing was wonderful but no any human was to be seen.

Longing for quiet place just like this, we had this kind of vibe before booming population take places in our beloved country. I'm just in my thirties, but really feel that java has crowded so much. It's concerning when other countries try to stimulate people to back to countryside and have more children, when we are in the other way around; almost no serene quiet place like this village anymore and people insist of having more children that they can afford for.

He should have greeted the people he saw. I have been watching videos from Spain here on KZread called "Me vuelvo al Pueblo" it's about Spanish people that return from the major cities to small Spanish towns, and all the Spanish life long residents of those towns are so friendly, hard working, yet easy going that like to have a good laugh. They make a living by having inns, restaurants, making crafts, farming, services, some are self-sustaining, or they have trucks that travel to the town and sell them the basic necessities. If you speak Spanish or know someone that can translate you can watch the videos as they are in Spanish. I really enjoy watching them. I have learned so much about how the Spanish are and life in general. They are just lovely people!
