FAQs
Q1) What is Flashpoint?
A1) It is a webgame preservation project by BlueMaxima that aims to collect as many web browser games and animations as possible before they are lost forever due to the phasing out of programs such as Shockwave Player and eventually, Flash Player.
Q2) How can I help?
A2) There are several ways, the most common being:
a. Spread the word to get more people to help contribute to the project
b. Search and curate requested games by others, which if successful, will result in the game being added to Flashpoint.
c. Testing games which have/haven’t been added to Flashpoint and report any bugs/missing files
You can visit their Discord page via the link from bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/ if you have any questions. That website also contains other useful links, such as the Game Master List, which states the existing games in Flashpoint so far and upcoming ones.
The Game Request List states all the requested games others have put up so far. You can download the Flashpoint program itself as well if you just want to play the games too.
Game Master List: bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/data...
Game Request List: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Flashpoint Download: bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/down...
Q3) What do you mean by “curate”?
A3) In short, it means you find a website that contains the game/animation and download the relevant files (e.g. dcr files for Shockwave games & swf files for Flash games). These will be opened with a Flashpoint program such as Flashpoint Core to test whether the game/animation works.
If they work, several files such as gameplay screenshots, text file containing the launch commands etc. are required to be placed into a ZIP file and uploaded to the relevant section of the Discord page, where they will be vetted by the experienced team there, and if successful, will be added to the newer Flashpoint version.
If you wish to help curate games, pls watch this video first in the link below, which will teach you how to curate the games you’ve found before submitting them for approval. Again, if you are still unsure, the folks at Discord will be able to help you!
Curation Guide: • Flashpoint Shockwave C...
Q4) According to the Game Master List, this game should be in Flashpoint but I can’t find it!
A4) If you’ve downloaded Flashpoint Infinity, take note that it doesn’t contain all the games in the Game Master List. For example, if the game you’re looking for is a Shockwave game: at the main screen of the program, you will see a section called “Upgrades”. Click the download button for “Other technologies”. For Flashpoint Infinity 6.1, it is about 900 MB. Once that is done, restart the program and the Shockwave games will appear.
Q5) I want to play this game, but it’s neither in Flashpoint nor the Game Master List!
A5) This means that game has not been added to Flashpoint yet. If there are games you want to be in Flashpoint, you can either wait for it to appear in later versions, or put up a request using the link in Q2. Note that to edit the Google Doc file, you need to request permission first.
Even if you have been granted editing privileges, pls check whether the game you want has already been requested before. Do not search by the specific name only. For example, if you are looking for the game “Scooby-Doo: Horror of the High Seas Episode 1 - The Ghost Pirate Attacks!”, try searching “Scooby Doo”, “Scooby-Doo”, “Ghost Pirate” etc.
This is because some game websites name them differently (e.g. Tom and Jerry: Food Fight is aka Tom and Jerry: Food Free-For-All). Curators who tested the games may also name them differently (e.g. the Scooby-Doo game mentioned above was named as “Scooby Doo Ghost Ship Episode One”).
Q6) Hey, this game isn’t from the Cartoon Network websites!
A6) Though some games came from other websites (e.g. some Scooby-Doo games originated from Warner Bros website), the cartoon characters in these games have appeared in Cartoon Network before, and are therefore included.

When I played that game, the challange of Sharptooth Sneak, I didn't like Redclaw's Red Eyes, and a Roar too. That is why it was very scary.

@La' Mariposa same here, I didn’t even move Petrie at all when I played I was too scared, the thumping footsteps, Redclaw staring at the player it even gave me nightmares 😬
Man I miss that game.
I Love these movies Littlefoot and his Grandparents❤️🦖🦕
Awww this game is so adorable! Carries a bad memory sadly, as I had a pretty gory nightmare about this franchise the night before I first saw this particular game. But Littlefoot and Spike's part cheered me up. So both good and bad memory
6:21 I removed playing this level. It scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Is it just me or does Running Wild remind me of the stampede level of the Lion King video game?

Yes it is. Simply with Ducky instead of Simba and pachycephalosaurs instead of wildebeests. And there is also no logs to jump over.
I loved this game when I was little! Running Wild and Cavern Slide were my favorites 💕
Littlefoot a Brontosaurus Ducky a Saurolophus Cera a Triceratops Spike a Stegosaurus Petrie a Pteranodon Ruby an Oviraptor Chomper a Tyrannosaurus Manfred a Woolly Mammoth Sid a Megatherium Diego a Smilodon
0:13 *Running Wild Intro* Ducky: I'm in trouble now. Yep, yep, yep! Redclaw is nearby, and me and a few domeheads are running away from him, but these domeheads are so scared, they're not watching where they're going. They could bump into me and that would not be nice. No, no, no! I need your help. I do, I do! Move your mouse to move me out of the way of the domeheads. As the game gets harder, more of them will run past me at the same time. 1:48 *Rock Hop Intro* Littlefoot: Home is just across this big lake. There's some rocks in the water that I can jump to, but I'll need your help. Just click the mouse and I will jump. The longer you hold down the mouse button, the farther I'll jump. As the game gets harder, the rocks will be farther away from each other, which means you'll have to hold down the mouse button longer. 3:23 *Boulder Bash Intro* Cera: You think a bunch of boulders is gonna stop a threehorn? Ha! I can easily smash those dumb rocks with my one horn! ...But, I may need some help. Just click the mouse button and I will smash a boulder with a flick of the head! As the game gets harder, I will run faster, meaning you'll have to time your clicks really well. 4:47 *Cavern Slide Intro* Ducky: Oh, no! Spike has fallen into a cave! Spike needs your help to guide him through the rocky cavern chute. He does, he does! Just move your mouse back and forth to guide Spike around sharp rocks. As the game gets harder, more obstacles will appear on the chute. 6:11 *Sharptooth Sneak Intro* Petrie: Ooh! Redclaw in cave! Me scared! Me need help! When Redclaw not looking, hold down mouse button and me move to next column. Release mouse button and me move back. If Redclaw see me, he roar! Scary! As game get harder, Redclaw appear more often and columns farther away from each other.

You have put more effort into the instructions than the Cartoon Network employees ever thought possible.

I remember the sharptooth sneak level was so terrifying for me as a little kid. I think my dad had to help me beat it cause hiding from big dinos in game was a big no from me.
Dunno why this showed up but seeing how the first game has them run like that dad from the one disney movie is a good sign
I remember playing this game when i was a kid and i loved it. And I gotta say that Ducky's and Petrie's were very intense
This game was very easy for me to do, since I had made sure Petrie wasn't seen by both Sharptooth and Redclaw in "Sharptooth Sneak". I guess both of them might be twins, but their faces are different. I also guess they were sniffing for him when his scent had spread out in the cave, while I was nervous to hear them walking across those columns that Petrie hid behind.
Idk why I sucked at playing this game as a kid it’s pretty easy 🤣

Yeah and I only played Spike’s part and I lost
This was fun to play as a kid, I managed to beat all five levels.
Y'know, funny thing is, I never unfortunately had a "childhood" with "The Land Before Time" but definitely remember hearing about it advertised well enough back in the day. But I do definitely remember playing this game as a child tbh when i was so addicted to playing fun little online games like these 😁 My personal favorite out of the 5 games was "Sharptooth Sneak" for one, I love caves, and two, how scary it was to not be seen as you sneak past these guys. Great times...😌
I remember playing these games on the computer in high school in 2007-2008
Boulder bash was the best one for me. Cera is my favorite
i wish i could play this again:(

Ducky’s mini game reminds me of the Lion king
I love that game
I would so love to be able to play this, but I can't find any link that can get me to it. Can you help me find one, please?

I played this using Flashpoint (video description), because many of these games are either no longer available on those CN/other websites or are unplayable due to the discontinuation of Shockwave and Flash.
¿Donde lo puedo jugar?
I don't know why Cartoon Network likes to put the land before time series in it, Along With games Too, I thought older cartoon Network fan won't allow but only Just Love Badass Epic Stuff And Not This In their Universe or Probably That I'm A Fan of The land before Time But Not The Series I Don't Need Just Need The 9 Land Before Time Movies Of The Beginning Age
