Peacock feathers put it where they (lizards) mostly come to place and where they come from outside. You are renovating your room and making the kids area then in the room if there were sharp corners then make them soft corners with the help of soft edges or soft cushion strips in future it's helpful for baby in some time where they are alone in the room.

Mukti di ...empty the egg shells and hang then on the walls or windows using nails(keelein) or something else. Another alternative is use mor ke pankh (Peacock feather). These two things will repel lizardsss like anything....

Just a small tip .....while renovation you can get a cushioned bed back and also a possible base of the bed too. We did it when he started walking on the bed and my baby got hurt twice. Also sharp corners and if any drawer in the room keeps them handle less or with lock. And lastly a tv unit with drawers is a bad idea In the future the baby will climb on the drawers and might hit tv. My son is next level naughty so this is what is face.
