You can hold block and then put your stand away to fool them into stunning themselves. It also makes you look like a demigod because you, without even moving your arms can perfect block an attack from a hamon GER and beatdown them

@@bannaboi623 Literally just get good. Most SPTW attacks are parriable. If you don't have a TS counter stand just deal all the damage you can and wait for him to TS out of pure despair. After that you can beat the hell out of him.

I usually use it and Platinum Slam whenever somebody is knocked down, because they always think i'm going to barrage them so they try to dash away, so i just get a bit of a funny combo.

And also, make SPTW have 20 seconds ts, no clicks end lag, buff it's dmg, it can't get pb, make that awakening lasts for 30 minutes, and it makes u have 5000 hp, and u don't need block to pb, ur ts also have no cooldown

Could we see a rarely used stand like tw again? We keep on getting episodes about very strong competitive stands (like c moon, twoh, sptw) but we never see something like hierophant green (really fun with boxing). Great video as usual though!

“Either their internet is bad or they are bad” never before have I been offended by something I one hundred percent agree with.

Definitely agree with a bunch of the points you gave out. However if you use SPTW with Pluck its actually really good. Whenever I used it a couple of days ago, I did surprisingly really well with it. Out of all of the 1v1s I did which was like 25 or something I only lost like 2. The main reason for that is because of the pierce strike range and block break that it has. Many people tend to try and block pierce strike but if you upgrade it all the way you can break their block and go into a slam or something. One more thing to note is the lingering hitbox on pierce strike. For example like KC, after impale you can use pierce strike and they'll be stunned when they get up, and again if they try to block it, their guard breaks and you can go into a combo. Same case with sptw. Although this may not work half of the time because of it being easy to perfect block, its a really stupid broken combo. If anyone wants to know my combo with sptw here it is. But warning you have to know how to do stand m1s with pluck moves as well. M1 into, Plat slam, time skip near them, pierce strike while ragdolled (they'll be stunned when they get up), barrage, m1 and half of their hp is gone without timestop. I use pluck with basically every single stand because of the mobility and aggressiveness it has. In my opinion, I do not think hamon is the best option for sptw. Then again, just my opinion lol

1 thing i thought of with sptw is that instead of skull crusher (sc) gets parrisled i think there should be 2 upgrade modules where the first 1 is you only tp behind your opponent the 2nd is that it should be the normal skull crusher so you can still use it during your suggested awakening

For skull crusher I think another time you can use it is when your opponent is stuck in a move or something, like if they missed ora kicks or tw kicks(I forgot what they're called) you can use it since they can't block you.

Can you use skull crusher while they’re doing a long range attack? To cancel their attack and they can’t block it if they’re trying to use multi steel balls

Making beatdown shorter while doing the same amount of damage could actually count as a nerf since you wouldn’t be able to get all your moves back while destroying your opponent at the same time

well that logic is stupid because then you shouldn’t be able to block heaven smite by putting your arms up or be able to block a scythe which tears holes through reality itself by putting your arms up

The skull crusher move can target ragdolled players so if you time it right when the ragdolled player gets up the get hit and ragdolled again. This is good to know if you want to use skull crusher and the platinum slam. A really good combo for sptw would be barrage into a kick barrage which would ragdoll the player, into a timed skull crusher, into a timed slam (you can time the slam the same way you would with skull crusher). Then you should have you barrage off cooldown, and the other player shouldn't be able to pull their stand out if you tp on them and then barrage. (I main sptw)

Sptw is actually good, there is a one shot sptw combo, but it requires TS (the ts only brings them to 50%)

I really love competative rework on sptw, I think buffing the awaking would some what compensate for a time stop and change and make it so it isn't total garbage. If they were to replace skull crusher, what if they put in the bullet shot he does in part 4 and have it work similar to how it works in heritage for the future. Blockable but is has a lot of hit stun so if you get it, you get a combo, like a projectile star finger. If they need to keep the auto aim aspect they can make it work sort of how the bearing shot in JoJo Eyes of Heaven works. Anyways keep up the good work.

yeah but the R isnt too hard to dodge perf block it or zone cd out since its a close range stand without rage it sucks ass and with rage you have a chance if you're a zoning stand if not then overwhelm them with pressure since cd isnt really good at handling pressure

Just because someone says a stand is bad doesn’t mean it’s bad. They just don’t like it. Use it if you want, only if it’s fun to you. I’ve used Made In Heaven (Username and Pfp checks out) since the new update and people kept saying that Mih was trash and bad and too ez to PB, but so far everyone I’ve met that has said that got clapped by me.

I have though of new tweaks and rework of sptw and maybe some of the game itself. I would firstly make sptw ts 4 seconds long, now. With each upgrade of it you get a quicker starting animation and if you have it completely upgraded, it becomes instant and you can instantly move after you use it. (Then I would probably add a bigger starting animation for twoh´s ts, being 9 seconds long). Then I would add some kind of proyectile that breaks block (like d4c/twau´s pocket revolver) for example a bearing shot like cd or a spear throw (Taking that one from stone ocean) that deals mediocre dmg. Right after, I would tweak the "Skull Crusher" move, making it only parriable by stands with timestop movement, it doesnt make sense to me how can you parry a move that was done while time was stopped. (Btw, also making moves like timeskip or skull crusher unusable during a timestop). And about the Awakening I would make it only usable if you are less than half health, same goes for beatdown (also with ge´s beatdown and ger´s awakening). Those are my ideas, might have taken a few ideas from you i think, but i think that would make the game a little more enjoyable.

sptw: only has 2 moves SCR: has no moves that do damage but is still way better
