Dated a girl from '83 to '92. This song, Only You, Nobody's Diary and Don't Go were songs we always danced to, even if we were in our car. Broke up with her and went back to listening to hard rock. Heard this song on my Pandora shuffle a year ago and it took me back to the early '80's so hard it made my head spin. Beautiful sounds. Good memories.

Disculpa por comentar, solo queria comentarte una anecdota, tengo 47 años, a los 8 encontre una cinta de cassette en una plaza, solo la mitad, en mi curiosidad desarme uno de los cassette que habian en casa y con esfuerzo logre ponerla en el radio, y estaba esta cancion que me volo el coco, para un niño de la epoca escuchar estos sonidos era espectacular, paso mucho tiempo hasta que alguien me pudo decir quienes eran!!!

En Colombia este era el tema cabezote de un programa llamado Telectrónico que presentaba Reinaldo Moré, el juego Packman en televisión pública en inicios de los años 80. Hermosa infancia por eso reconocí este tema el cual nunca olvido.

Most Excellent song!!! I was late to Yazoo/Yaz. I was in college in the mid 80s and the local station in Trenton, NJ started playing Situation a lot for an "older song." It seemed like whenever I turned on the radio, I would hear it. But stations don't properly announce songs. So I went to a record shop at the local mall, and asked for their help. And they came through and I was properly introduced to Yaz, Upstairs at Eric's. Situation, Don't Go, and Winter Kills are favorites to this day.

En Colombia este era el tema cabezote de un programa llamado Telectrónico que presentaba Reinaldo Moré, el juego Packman en televisión pública en inicios de los años 80. Hermosa infancia por eso reconocí este tema el cual nunca olvido.

Most Excellent song!!! I was late to Yazoo/Yaz. I was in college in the mid 80s and the local station in Trenton, NJ started playing Situation a lot for an "older song." It seemed like whenever I turned on the radio, I would hear it. But stations don't properly announce songs. So I went to a record shop at the local mall, and asked for their help. And they came through and I was properly introduced to Yaz, Upstairs at Eric's. Situation, Don't Go, and Winter Kills are favorites to this day.
