the Queen....!!! the clarity of her voice, is just amazing....!!! it takes attention of people even that usually don't even like this kind of song, that's the true power of SoHyang....!!! Screamer??? That's very insulting you thinking like that. that's just hate talk DON"T BELIEVE THOSE or just go and watch and decide yourself, she was really high and loud but super clear and precise at the same time and it was so easy for her, so it's not at all screaming... you can see many popular entertainers screaming is just their trademark...

So Hyang is a lot better today than she was in the past. She tried to sound too much like Mariah, over-singing and stuff. Not too many people like her performance with Charice Pampengco.

Sohyang has been singing for over 20 years, but she really started training her voice about 11 years ago. Her unsupported high notes were many years ago. I think how great she is now shows how much work and training she has done. There are fan sites for her including a Discord. I did Google as I had not heard of Christina Grimmie. Very sad and needless.

She is most amazing vocalist ever. Please react to her "Day day" in Begin Again too. It will blow your mind!

Since the end of last year, Sohyang's health has improved very much, so there are many great performances. I look forward to her reaction video of the year. And I hope to try and meet her. In the past, there is a case where a Turkish vocal coach also met her when visiting Korea. Thank you very much.

Whatever SoHyang haters say, she is one of the Top female vocal artist on earth!! I went to her concert in SuWon Korea a week ago! That was a duet concert with Jung Dong Ha(Male singer) and I was shocked when she took it up!!! Her pitches and tones.. It was like a laser and getting louder!! Anyway I believe.. she is way up there female singer all over the world!!

Yazik, Hi. Sorry about the lack of details, but I recently saw a video by her historian that went back to her early teens. She WAS a screamer, but by the age of twenty, she had conquered that and could sing her super high notes without screaming or shouting. She is SO superb that some petty people feel compelled to find a way to pick at her. She teaches singing just by singing. New Sub. Super Sohyang fan. Very nice Review. By the way, she IS still beautiful, isn't she? Cheers.

A belated happy new year Yazik. Great reaction. Love Sohyang singing this and gives me goose eggs never mind goose bumps. Saw her do this on Begin Again Korea in the open air with just cello and piano accompanying, it was truly awesome. The audience must have been in shock there was such big gap from the end to the huge applause. Try listening to Misty. Looking forward to your next Sohyang adventure.

Sohyang's belts are always striking and memorable and as you noted, her voice, always powerful, has become even more polished and expressive over the years. Very informative for you to correlate the song with her own life. 2020/2021 has been a good year for Sohyang fans as she performed new pop songs. In this "I Won't Give Up", I actually get much satisfaction in listening to her singing in the lower register. Thank you for identifying the G#3 note.

Ohh, thank you for featuring her again! Could you check out "Love Poem" or "Misty" on begin again ? Both are not about high notes (especially Misty) but they're so flawless and beautiful! Two of the performances which are absolutely technical perfection. Both from end of 2020 so very recent.

The issue with that duet with Charice was them not being in sync and So Hyang did mess up more. Her performance itself was fine. But since that is the One Video out of the thousands where she clearly messed up, her haters keep bringing that One video up every single time. In a twisted way, that’s actually a massive compliment and testament to her legendary consistency 🤣 Esp. considering So Hyang’s frequent health issues, it is indeed a remarkable achievement for her to still be at her peak at her current age. And she just seems to be getting better every year. 2020 was her best till date based on her caliber of performances and the amount of top quality releases.

If you want to hear something different from her, listen to "Day Day", it's a hiphop song. She sang it in King of Masked Singer and Begin Again Korea (a busking show). In my opinion, the Begin Again Korea version is better because she's healthy as ever! You might want to listen to the original version (the original version is by Bewhy), because she did a great job in rearranging the song ❤️❤️❤️
