This girl does hair better, or as well as any other stylist, she went to school, paid her dues, and not only owns' a shop, but has clients, beauty is not limited to one race, anyone can do it if you have passion, and Miss Thang has passion and skills! It doesn't matter whether she is black, white, green or purple. You know she's got talent and it's too bad she doesn't live in the state otherwise I would be at her shop all the time. Keep doing your thing and forget the haters.

This isn't about emotionalism. This is about how racist WE are regarding hair and beauty. Especially within America. It's shameful to add it into a discussion that isn't about ethnicity. It's about professionalism. Until Americans learn that cultural issues they have, they drag into every little thing. That is why they're as behind as they are. If one has chose to live in a box at some point they have to realize, perhaps they're guilty of the very thing they accuse another of. In all honesty, as yourself would you segregate a stylist based on race? meaning would you decline the services of a stylist based on race & culture? If so, that's racism, bigotry. In my lifetime I've had stylist from all over the world. Race was never an issue. Professionalism was. I find it unfortunate the outstanding work of a stylist has to be sullied by people's stereotypes. Instead of focusing on her work. That's the issue. She isn't here to eradicate any social, racial biases any of you have. It's selfish.

Okay ... I have to give "props" where it's due. White Brit girlfriend is not only doing a sew in weave but she braids the cornrow WITH long nails.. OMG!!! The world is really changing. LOL!!!

Hasna Si'des Hasinah what lies were you told. Blacks invented weaves. It is extremely rare for a white person to weave for numerous reasons. Training schools are hard to come by in predominately 'white' areas, they cannot practice on themselves/family members as easily.

I think the reason she is able to braid to the scalp without breaking a nails is because of the way she is braiding. Notice her thumb is looping under the hair as her right index finger is pressed against the scalp. Such a cool way to braid, I need someone to teach me that way.
