YATAI | 【Yatai 屋台】 博多華丸大吉がオススメする屋台 praying to household shrine before opening food stall.
One of the rare food stall in Fukuoka city is "Tomochan". Before they open their store, they must pray to Shinto shrine to absorb the best luck from god. Thanks to this ritual, they have been able to run their food stall for a long time in the central of Fukuoka. Basically, Japanese people do not have any religion, but they really esteem what they believe.

these food stalls remind me of some restaurants having tables outside for customers to sit & eat. its nice to have someone cook the foods to eat dinner under the stars.

Setting-up the store taking much of their time in the daily business operation and it is not an easy job to be handled by only oneself. Further workload included preparation of those ingredients at home which is not seen over the video clip . It is just amazed to see how life is treating them daily . Opening a yatai stall is really a test of endurance, opening & closing within 12 hours, following hundreds of steps each time. These stalls owners need another way to do business.

What did they people do, when the rain started ? And what is in the winter time ? It's to cold to work outside ?! I look your videos from Germany. It's a hard buisness to build the "shop" every day from zero. I'am impressed for that whole work.
In my country, the street food stall owner usually left their entire stall on road side occupy the space even when they not doing business, so I m salute to these Japanese man & women set up their stall entirely everyday. also to the Japan Govt management, even the road have food stall it still have enough walk space for ppl pass through, in my country - the food stall will occupy the walk way so the ppl have force to walk on car road, making traffic problem and potential accident risk.
hope that you can film opening till closing then do an interview of what its like on a daily basis for them. The video is great but hope we can have a complete until closing and maybe show the highlights only

And at the end of the day, do everything in reverse, clean up, go home and prepare food for the next day, then do it all over again. Kudos to this man; he does the kind of work that spoilt millennial snowflakes would melt before even setting up.
