Yasamin Shahhosseini playing her new 7-course Stenzel Oud
It was with nine months delay due to the pandemic that I could finally give Yasamin Shahhosseini the oud she had commissioned more than two years ago. She gracefully allowed me to make two recordings with her, the shorter of which you can see and hear here.

J'ai déjà ecrits un commentaire mais je ne resiste pas apres de nombreuses ecoutes à vous dire que cette petite piece de oud est une pure merveille de finesse de profondeur et d'émotion. Yassamin, vous avez un touché et une inspiration divine, l'economie de note, la respiration, les phrases comme en suspention, le rythme toujours présent mais imperceptible, comme un chuchotement. La qualite de votre oud, le son profond et mystérieux que vous en tirez . Bravo et merci

I completely agree with you. Yasamin's music is overall transcendent, as you can hardly find the second player in the world playing oud like she did. I mean, there are a lot of Oud players, many of them playing good, but none of them can play it so non-traditional while being musically deep. I sincerely recommend you Keith Jarrett, as I think his playing is somewhat close to Yasamin's idea: improvised, but deep.
I love it. Yasamin play it beautifully and Stenzel Oud sounds so gorgeous. Congratulations 👍😍

Mr Stenzel, votre oud a une profondeur de son incroyable et une richesse harmonique folle. Yasamin le met en valeur avec merveille grâce son jeu fin, inspiré, aérien, virtuose et poétique . Ce oud ouvre des interprétations nouvelles, la corde grave en la (?) me semble un bien meilleur choix qu'une corde aigu en fa, j'aimerais un oud comme le votre. Pour ceux qui voudraient toutes les possibilités vous avez fait un 8 cordes je crois (du la grave à fa j'imagine ?), existe il un enregistrement ? Merci à vous deux, j'écoute cette œuvre régulièrement car elle m'inspire et me détent. Quel marque de corde existe pour le la grave ?

Reasonable one 500$ Orchestra 6000$ Roughly.
