Those yard goats are easier to maneuver in than conventional cab semis. They're the most common fifth wheel cabovers in the USA these days. I remember I use to see fifth wheel cabover semis on USA roads all the time back in the 1980s & down. Today I mostly see conventional cab ones.

@@Erghiez06 Backing isn’t hard 🤦🏿♂️ Hardest part about driving the tractor trailer is pre-planning if you’re OTR. Every physical aspect of driving the tractor trailer has been easy for ME. Ik everyone isn’t the same, but I can’t imagine why people believe backing is hard. Then again, it’s probably the schools. I was the only person in my class. Even still, in a full class I believe it would’ve been the same. Some people just don’t belong in a truck @theendoftheday no offense. A lot of people can hardly drive a car.

@@kyglowen4185 I do local runs in a Day cab, but my CDL training was in a sleeper. My routes are pre-configured so I cant imagine route-planning being easy. Especially considering the tool my company uses to route plan for us is incredibly bad. Constantly wants us to drive under bridges without proper clearances or into city streets which expressly forbid commercial vehicles. Gotta admit though, would be nice to choose our own routes so we can do away with this app. Absolutely terrible. Much respect to you OTR guys. I couldn't do it.
