    This man and his articulate presentation of issues is gold. He is a total departure from Buhari, who is less articulate and lacks confidence with American Presidents. This man can go down in Nigeria's history as the best President of Nigeria. His tenure was brief due to Ill health but very impactful to the average Nigerian. May His soul Rest in peace

    Oh God. Why did you take him away from us too early. This guy was good, honest , extremely intelligent and purposeful. He oozed class sitting right next to POTUS. Why do good things not last long? Rest in peace President Yar'adua. May your dreams for this country come to fulfilment one day.

    I think Yar Adua spoke very well. There were no dranatical flaws in his grammer.You can tell he is a teacher. He spoke with apt confidence, this is in comparison to Obasanjo. I did not observe any diplomatic flaws. He was being gracious to his host, when he said he was honored to be in the white house.

    Yar' adua did say he would partner with Africom in order to set up brigade size African forces to be stationed in each of the regional grouping in Africa.He really never gave a blank check to Africom as he have been accused of doing in Nigeria.

  • @zweeterion
    @zweeterion16 жыл бұрын

    Bomboy134, I am skeptical about Africom not because of what America and Bin laden are doing.But it's aim of establishment simply runs counter to fundamental African interests.While Africa struggles to build a united, prosperous,less militarised continent where people and goods are free to travel within,Africom in the name of security wants less movements and increasingly lethal weapons being deployed to Africa.

    The problem is that most African leaders are never been truthful to themselves and the people they serve. The followers themselves are too confrontational as a result of insincerity frustration experienced from the bad leaders .

    "Few expected the elections to live up to International Standards. But in the wake of elections in 1999 and 2003 that were openly rigged in favour of (Nigerian) president Olusegun Obasanjo and his party, it was hoped that April (2007 elections that ushered in Umaru Yar'Adua as president)polls would at least mark a step forward. Instead, the elections marked a long stride backwards." ---- Chris Lackey of Human Rights Watch reporting on Nigeria's 2007 elections adjudged as the worst in the world.

They are a big problem to Africa and the blackman and the retrogressive and destructive ideologies they so readily clive to must be resisted. They would have been a better people if not for Islamic influence, and its grip on them cannot allow rationalization.
