Музыка
"Yao Dance" is a popular 20th-century Chinese instrumental work from the Yao people of southern China. The piece was performed by Silkroad Ensemble member Wu Man (pipa) and Harvard student Reylon Yount (yangqin), at a concert at Harvard's Sanders Theatre in April 2015, during a residency at the University. Wonderful, sensitive, lively performance. This tune has it all, and the performers to match. What a delight!!! An instant favorite for me.
During COVID as of October 2020 I have listened to 328 versions of this tune. Need more.
Such talent and skill...many years of dedication and passion to play like this; they’re so quietly confident yet so vibrant
I think I will forever be a fan of a Wu Man. Plus I totally love this song! I also need to look into more of Reylon yount 's work.
the intro brought me to tears
Loved it! Thanks so much!
Fantastic!!!
How beautiful!
Who can tell the many different threads through which the invisible and unknown clouds of this song were converging?
Thank you wu man and pi pa
I absolutely like it! Thank you all!
Very surprising combination.
Very nice!

This song was created in 1950s.
Wu man is the best like always 😍
From 1.35 to 2.15 it has the flavour of Appalachian Bluegrass, and again from 3.08!
How about some love for the percussionist? I see 3 people making this music together, this piece was performed by 3 people, not 2!
SILKROAD, please fix this issue. There are THREE performers here, not two. Wu Man (pipa), Reylon Yount (yangqin), Haruka Fujii (percussion). Thank you!
This sounds like Prince of Egypt in the beginning.

That section in "When you believe" was actually written based off this song :)

是瑶族舞曲吗?
Mama bear ran the show. Great technique, and was watching the kids to make sure they didn't mess up, while axe murdering the hardest parts.

I think Wu Man watching Reylon was natural, her instrument doesn't demand visual tracking but Reylon's does, otherwise they would have been watching each other, as musicians in the folk realm generally do.

是, 我是听魔岩三杰之一的张勇改编的,才去找到原曲的。
