I saw this video for the first time on December 31, 1997. When I opened the Swiss TV channel, I couldn't look the other way. I quickly called my best friends and told them about this terrific concert. When Yanni then told the audience that his father took him to the mountains as a little boy and explained the beauty of nature to him there, it was so fascinating for me. But the music with these world class musicians totally overwhelmed me. I haven't seen anything so beautiful before. As if this music was from another planet. I hope that Yanni will continue to spoil us with his heavenly music for many years to come. Greetings to all Yanni's fans worldwide from a Greek / Croatian lady from Lake Constance in Germany

Very well said. I see Yanni,s music as part of his heart, just beautiful. Never gets old. I have the cd and I come here alot just to hear this particular concert.I love hearing the chello and violin music play so nsync but man Ming Freeman can really get down on the keyboards. Yeah baby!!!! 🎹🎵🎶🎼🎺🎸🎻🪘🎤🎄🎉🐼😘👍 Only Yanni would understand the picture of the panda unless some of you know the story behind it. Blessings to Yanni 🙏

I listened to this music in the 1990's.......This music is so calming and uplifting.......cheaper than taking antidepressants or tranquilizers. And no side effects !

For 20 + years this has been my favorite Yanni concert, I was 12 when it aired on PBS and various family members bought it during the telethon so it was played over and over during my adolescence and is a vital musical moment in time for me

same here....i was about that age.... i would dim all the house light and play this concert on CD player and get in to a magical world of mine...mesmerized on how they pulled this off...this have a significant impact on my life. seriously.

I haven't heard this Taj Mahal concert yet, until today. The Live at the Acropolis was my vital musical moment ... I must have been 16. So amazing... all of it. What a musical blessing Yanni has been to so many.

My father use to listen this kind of music when I was young. I remember this concert specially, he had it recorded in a cassette and we listen to it while he drove. After 20 years this is the first time I can watch the full concert, which I never see before. Thanks for sharing!

Конечно эти кадры такие живописные, что чем больше смотришь на них под такую чудесную мелодию, тем все более и более притягивают и привлекают, и так хочется побывать в этих сказочно красивых места. И сколько бы лет не прошло, но смотришь эти записи вновь и вновь, как впервые, так снято классно и красиво. Просто супер!

I still love this concert even though the singer Van Johnson is no longer with us. She had such a powerful voice. Rest well Vann

She was so pretty and talented. I went into this deep shock after looking her up on google to see what she was up to in her career only to find out that she had passed. I just went numb, shut down my phone/youtube totally emotionalist with my heart just breaking down. It felt like when you,re in denial but yet you know it was true and just couldn,t believe it. I think she died here in San Diego. Not too sure but I do know that she had been going to UCSD. All I remember was how much pain my heart was in from the shock. I couldn,t handle listening to Yanni,s music for a short time cause all I could think of was Vann Johnson knowing she wasn,t with us anymore. RIP beautiful lady. 🙏✝️

Yanni, he's one of the greatest musicians, MASTER! He could combine different instrument together with his perfect arrangement n talent to make the best music. I was a teenager when I heart his concert, it was amazing n I couldn't stop from then. It's been more than 30 years, I know every piece of his wonderful melody but I still enjoy them n my kids love them too! We'll love them forever! Thank you YANNI! We love you!

Excellent 2 hours watching and listening to your concert Yanni. Your music and the profecialism touched my soul and I received lots of vibrations/messages you did pack in. It reminded me and brought me back into 13 years of musician in a band plaing for young people in Southern Germany. Thank you for sharing your feelings and emotions through your wonderful music. I wish you lots of passion to continue with your dream on transporting love and vibes through your music for a very long time.

The Forbidden City if I am not mistaking is the most Iconic and old place of history that Yanny have ever played in Live

In English and Portuguese Congratulations Yanni!!!...It's hard to find words to describe the meaning and adjectives that this video deserves. This tribute became eternal, not only because we had a very sad fact with one of the members, Vann Jhonson, who had an unparalleled voice, but for everything that the musicians did in each song performed. It is possible to watch this video tirelessly and when you arrive at Vann's presentation, your eyes fill with tears. I leave here my recognition for the talent of everyone who participated in this show. Infinite congratulations!!!! Parabéns Yanni!!!...Fica difícil encontrar palavras para descrever o signficado e os adjetivos que este vídeo merece. This is my first Yanni album I bought and the quest to play drums line introduced me to Jazz drumming pattern. In fact I bought the album by chance as the actual music disc I wanted to buy is not available and the shop attendant said I will love the album. It is great and I end up buying every master song of Yanni
