I think there are certain songs in life that you find special and this is the one for me. I listen to it on the 26th of august every year, as it’s my birthday and it really feel like such a significant song for me. Like an introduction to the fall season, and the closure of the summer whilst signifying another year I’ve been alive. This song gives me so much, it’s so special.

Still Swept away after decades , I lost my DVD and CDs since my divorce, so refreshing to have run into this playlist! Unbelievably refreshing, every melody, masterful transition mixing modern to classical, I truly believe a modern day Mozart was destined for the most beautiful Concert in the Modern Age. I just turned 60 , I felt young and vibrant listening to this. Yanni Thank you 🙏

It's September 2nd 2023. I saw Yanni in 2018, for his 25th anniversary of "Live at the Acropolis " he played for 3 hours! Amazing night!

I am born end of August. I am born to love this piece.

The violin parts in this song bring me to tears, especially at their crescendos. Such magic!

The autumn would be incomplete for me without this transcendent song. Thank you Yanni for your being in this world

Certainly the most notable concert from Yanni in my opinion. This was a good year in my life too. Being Greek and playing at the Acropolis while your parents and partner are in the audience is no doubt the single most important show. Never to be recreated

This is probably my most favorite song of all time. It always gets me in the heart.

Every end of August I play this song and remember the story you told us in your concert in Toronto, Canada about how you composed this piece back in your native Greece at the end of August. This song makes me sad and happy at the same time; hard to describe all the emotions. Thank you.

Politics, Covid - 19, misery, drudgery, banality all melt away when I hear or watch your compositions. Simply, Thank you. End of August..... I would open all the windows and let the warm summer sun pour into my small room, close my eyes and just see the colorful music dance in my head. This song always made me homesick for something I've never been homesick for. The more number of times I listen to it the more deep I dive into it. Every stroke is a masters stroke. I recently read the biography and learnt about the tremendous struggle to put the show. I see it in his eyes while bowing down to the audience.
