Listening to Yanni makes me believe there is still Hope for the Human race to change as his music transcends all boundaries of culture, race, and religious differences. We can at least agree on 1 thing his music is wonderful.

Say what you want about Yanni but as a self taught pianist, he's certainly worthy of credit. Such a masterful touch and impeccable sound from this grand piano. This piece touches me particularly. Bravo

The type of YAnnis music is just unique. No one creates the same, it's a completely different type❤❤❤

Yanni is a huge reason why I am a pianist and composer today. He'll never know how much I appreciate him and his music for that!

For me Yanni is that Greek young guy that made me believe that anything is possible. Live At The Acropolis was really a waking point in my life. It was when i realised (through his music) that love, music, creativity and dreaming are major elements in our short life. Dare to dream people! Dare to dream and everything is possible. I was 6 when my parents were watching Live At The Acropolis and it forever shaped my appreciation for music. Until that point I had never heard music at such a scale. Maybe via a movie with an orchestral soundtrack, but I had never heard and SEEN music being played like that before. I couldn't comprehend musically what was going on, but I noticed the passion, and I heard it too. It was overwhelmingly intense and I loved it. After that night my parents bought a tape of that performance and we'd go for long car rides listening to it. I noticed how some songs would make me feel a certain way, calm, relaxed, comfortable, and even sleepy, and other songs made me feel excited, and full of energy. What they all had in common, though, was copious FEELINGS in general. Solemn, melancholic, happy, intense, hostile..the whole spectrum of human emotion was felt and explored by me all within a car ride with my parents, with me lying down in the back seat absorbing it all.

I have never seen a person who can get into his music like he does. It's like he pours himself into his music and enjoys every note. Keep on playing Yanni.

When I m lost ,sad , stressed its Yannis music which brings me back to normalcy and keep my sanity!

His words at the end of his performance made me cry❤...Pure Soul!

My father has just passed away due to covid-19. There are a lot of things I wanted to say to him, but I coudn't due to the protocol this decease demands. My soul is torn apart and, although this song hits me very hard, it is one of the reasons I believe I can interact with my father somehow, someday. The way your music talks to us makes me believe we can talk to our beloved ones which have gone. I don't know your specific reasons to compose or perform this piece, but I know it is about love, and infinite love is what I feel for my dear father. If I could tell him... Thank you so much.

I have larnesythe song now and with my whistle it get a chance to show what it can , it both tone high and low... This song has being to mean something special to me, Yanni like you self said... It goes good vibes to my litle daughter that took hers last breath only 6years old. It's like I get some freezi feeling inside me ,and to more I learn the song with whistle, to more I feel her. My litle one that mot has harmed anyone, but just was my star, my son, my moon and my life.. But she has for sure gone before me for a reason I dont know. All I know is that I gonna se her again. I love her so much, Yanni,and I feel the pain gonna killing me. So I just love this melody and of course you to...I wisle urs "I wish I could see you know" and the pain is gone for a while. I never get more children, so maybe I will meet you and wistle with you. That's my dream so I practised everything every day . I am a pianist/composer who has played professionally since I was 13 (1970), who's music has recently been featured in one of the Panasonic 'smart' speaker systems Japan, and Yanni is my favorite composer too! He is AMAZING composer.

Same here brother I became engulfed and enchanted by his music in about 92-93 because my mother really got big into his music and would play it loud in the living room almost every day, changed my perspective of music forever and I'm still listening to the same songs in 2019 as I was in 1993 and they've only gotten better as they age.

Same here! I started listening to Yanni in '84 on cassette tapes. Here in Los Angeles, there is a radio station called 94.7 The Wave that came to existence about that time to play new age music. Around midnight, they would have an hour program called Night Tracks where they would feature the latest album and played in its entirety. One night they played Niki Nana and I remember the excitement of hearing the brand new album, every song so good. I was a secret lover of new age music until I saw Live At The Acropolis on a plane trip to Buenos Aires in '93 and his music came to life. Then I knew the whole world loved him (Linda Evans in the audience). It wasn't until 2019 that I got to see Yanni live, and he performed with just a piano and I fell more in love to hear what must have been how he played as he composed the music 30 years ago! I like it more than with the full orchestra, but he said he was coming back in 2020 with a full entourage. Sorry for the long reply, this man's music stirs my soul.

This wonderful musician performed in India when i was 4. Over the years as I have kept coming back to his music, I have wondered, what magnificence and glory it would have been....Yanni and Taj. Ever since I have come to understand music, I have hoped that one day, he will come to India again and grace us with his presence and music and that day, I will be ready, no longer a 4 year old child, to witness music personified !!

That was the first yanni song I fell in love with back when I was about 13 years old , my mother used to play live at the acroppolis and a couple other yanni CD's pretty much daily just about and now 24 years later I love those first songs I heard just as much now as when I first heard them, actually I'd say I'm more grateful for his music now actually when I really get honest with myself , music has a life to itself , it can raise or lower your vibratory frequency depending on what type of music and notes and rythems the music is made up of . Yannis music raises my frequency higher than any other music Ive ever come across honestly , very grateful for such a talented man to live and create music in our lifetime , beautiful.

That's for sure that there's magic happens then... Why do this happen when he toughed the pianokeys? I have never se a soo good drummer he had with him either og what should I say: - his hole stab, with olds and new musicfriend, is a must to let The Master have /compose the music music that he wants. I remember he said somethings liker this...: I have learn a lot of them I'm playing with - the hole band, and not for just name one person ; what do you think about the yonger woman playing violin? She's so amazing on the instrument and shes also, like Yanni, is one of a kind in her class... But don't let us forget that is Yanni, "THE MASTER" written all this songs and the most of this song's been written long ago. But the best is that the songs is still like pop and many thousen of people think this music are good, or maybe better after so long... yes, Yanni, go on... We're many many thousen out there that still bless you're song, I hope you can have time to make maybee a new album.. And I think I'm not alone to wish a hand full of new song welcome...
