A melody says more than a thousand words - and the melodies coming from the fingers of Yann Tiersen even more so. He is a true virtuoso and master of his craft, who was also able to fascinate the audience at SUPERBOOTH21 with his energetic sound collages - a perfect end to the first day of the event.
Yann collaborates with the label Mute Records, on which he has been developing his experiments since 2010. His latest album Kerber was released just before SUPERBOOTH21 and shows how Yann uses piano sketches as a source of inspiration for electronic module synthesis. The combination of these two worlds makes the album a unique creative achievement, where the electronic instruments are overlaid and driven by the acoustic elements. With this album in mind and the fact that he has been a regular guest at SchneidersLaden for quite some time, Yann was the perfect musician for a concert at Superbooth.
The Yann Tiersen concert was presented by the Miller-Zillmer Foundation.

Old guy :} ...here to say that Mr. Tiersen never ceases to interest me. After my initial hesitation/reluctance to accepting Kerber into my "listening arena", this music has been on repeat ever since. He is onto something that no one's ever done in music and it's thrilling to watch his evolution as a singular artist. Really looking forward to the North American tour this summer.

WHY SUB NO DISPONIBLES
Yo prefiero las canciones con muy ligeros toques electrónicos, son melodías preciosas y al hacer remixes extraños se pierde bastante pureza...Es igual que PALESTINE, la versión a piano y banda rockera es increible, perl la electrónica no me atrae nada. Pero claro dependerá del contexto jaja

Igual es que Yann en este nuevo álbum se arriesgo a solo ir con sintetizadores y moduladores al parecer y hacer algo mas electrónico, igual es increíble el manejo de este hombre con cualquier instrumento

Schlecht! So eine Belastung! Ich mag Yann tiersen aber das war so schlecht. Kein klavier nur elektronische Musik extrem Laut. Una vergüenza de concierto por la que he pagado 55€
