From an art historical standpoint, I find it significant that the producers of these videos choose to show the umpires inspecting the hands of the starting pitchers. To the casual viewer these may seem like mere overflow images from the previous inning's highlights, but there is no reason these couldn't be cut out (the same way they don't show all the other players leaving the field) but for the fact that MLB wants to emphasize that they are enforcing this rule.

The Yankees were going to win they did not need to throw up and in. Dangerous pitches cause serious injuries and I think that coach is Justified in what he did due to the fact that more of his players have been hit by Yankees throwing up and in safely then don't do it.
