Boomer, you are selling Mark Vientos short. It's Alvarez AND Vientos! Bret Baty was .229/.306/.327 and you replaced that with Vientos at .298/.358/.570.. I'm not disparaging Baty. I firmly believe he WILL hit. But for now ... the Mets replaced TWO black holes in their batting order with two guys performing like All-Stars.

Did they say the Mets are better than the Yankees? No. Did they compare them on the season? No. They talked about two games that the Mets just wiped the floor with them, and how RIGHT NOW the Mets are hot. And the Yankees are dealing with injuries? Your response?
