He was one of my favorite Mets player, next to Tom Seaver and Doc Gooden! I was upset that the Mets traded, more upset becoming the hated Yankees! Especially as a Mets fan in 1999! After seeing this game that year was phenomenal! Even as a Mets fan I did felt some of that New York pride and nostalgia for that Team’s past and present! Only for that moment I swallowed my Mets NY pride because that day was historically special! There can only be three prefect games in the house that Ruth built... David Cone coming out of the Mets farm system, nearly pitched 2 perfect games for us! Just like Tom Seaver, David Cone became one my prestige favorite Mets player of all times!

What a ride...so much funky shit happen to me as a ypung teen in my fam..but every summer i had these guys...when the magic was being torn from a young bpy....u guys made me believe...magical shit was still possible...ty forever...late 90s.to early 2000s yankees.....
