I don't care what people say about the second half of The Faraway Paladin's story falling off. That first half with him and his family was pretty emotional and heartwarming. Especially that flashback scene with Mary and Blood as humans talking about the child they'd one day have.

Facts, whatever ppl are saying, I loved the show from start to finish! I cannot express how badly I'm looking forward to the second season. Aside from Mushoku Tensei, I'd say Faraway Paladin was my favorite Isekia for fall season

@@gprime70 It's definitely up there in the 8/10 section with Reincarnated As A Slime & Rising Of The Shield Hero. But i can't front, Mushoku Tensei definitely in the 9/10 section with Re;Zero. Mushoku Tensei has got to be one of the greatest Isekais i've ever seen. And as a fan of the isekai genre, i will vouch for it. Just the musical scores they incorporated by removing the openings was incredible on It's own.

@@mommykirogi i would, cuz i like me some good fantasy isekai anime's, like this seasons isekai's are pretty trashy or meek (Winter 2022). Personal ratings (these can change with how the stories progress); -Kenja no Deshi (6.5) (Watch it and you'll understand) -Realist Hero S2 (7) (Good but lacking real character development for secondary characters) -Fantasy Bishoujo (7) (Great comedy but skims through the important details) -Leadale no Daichi (7) (No impactful scenes yet but family friendly show with decent jokes) -Arifureta S2 (6.5) [Of all of these this one disappoints me most because of how good the Light Novels are and how badly the anime cut out many, and i mean MANY of the important content. I finished the first 4 volumes and i finally understood why people criticized the anime so much. It deserved a better adaptation.

I don't think the story fell off tbf, enjoyed it from start to end but sure the part with his undead parents was cool.

This ED is so beautiful, Yanaginagi voice is so beautiful... also the ed showing us a glimpse of Blood, Mary and Gus whom is Will's family. Blood, Mary and Gus finding Will. Raising him, teaching him how the world works, fight, spell and farming. also somehow its sad after 4th episode that Blood and Mary leaves this world with Evergrace. Gus stays to look after Will for some more time in absence of Blood and Mary. Wish Blood and Mary would come back. maybe someday later as Everygrace took them i think they will reincarnate. Wish in future older Will to meet them and show them how he has grown up with his kids and family. This ed is for Blood, Mary and Gus...I loved it. Have to binge s2. haha...

This anime is really great and that ending gives me a feeling of peace

It's not a very impressive song when I first heard it but I kept coming back and now I'm looping it. If subs (romaji) are added and make it like karaoke where the lyrics appears slightly earlier then that'd be great for singalongs

Do you know any links for the music video of the credits? All I can find is full versions with only lyrics like this one. The music video of the characters even if its still images are majestic, cuz their designs feel more like posters to stare at
