Just to make it clear, Sternritter Y are the twins, Loyd Lloyd and Royd Lloyd. Loyd, the older brother can mimic the opponents appearance and powers, while Royd can mimic the opponents appearance, memories, and personality

Correction from a interview with Tite Kubo himself either of the two brothers can use the ability but they have to pick wether they will copy memories and personality or if they will copy power. If they copy memory everything else will be at 80% power.

1st Gang, Kubo’s writing is definitely very nuanced and a different writing style.So a lot of stuff definitely fly’s over people’s heads as a kid.

THIS!!! That’s why I feel so many people hated the Fullbringer Arc when they were younger but now see the details and symbolism Kubo has everywhere. If you’ve seen the show/read the manga as a kid, I’d highly recommend re-watching/re-reading it because there’s so much with Kubo’s writing

if you pay close attention, at 39:24 Ichigo didn't use flash step, it's very subtle but that tearing sound is exclusively used for sonido.. he's so mad he accidentally used sonido, a hollow technique 🤯🤯

@@hanzgolden well the way they show the reatsu sensing is is very similar to how grimmjaws team sense the karakura team bacl in the beginning of arrancar arc Like small flames Also sonido can temporary hide their spiritual pressure That why the quincies said the spiritual pressure dissapear Its widely accepted by the fandom With the all the evidence and similarities And it makes sense given ichigos emotional in the current state and exausted and low spiritual energy he is His hollow side should be his next fuel to as its the second most familiar side

Sonido movement temporarily hides your spirit energy its why the Quincy said the spirit energy disappeared, also the sound it made is exactly the same sound the arrancer made when they move. Go back and watch how grimmjow and his crew sensed spirit energy and see it was the exact same way Ichigo used it.

It was a blink and you'll miss it moment in the anime but the Y "The Yourself" quincy that Kenpachi killed had a twin brother. There were 2 of them. Loyd and Royd and they both had a different version of the copy ability. Loyd copied abilities and appearance while Royd copied memories and appearance. Royd apparently was just miles stronger than his brother Loyd since he was able to keep up with Yamamoto to an extent.

Royd didn’t really do all that much. Yamamoto was basically toying with him the entire time. He probably wouldn’t of even used his bankai if he knew it wasn’t Yhwach.

Sasikibe Chojiro (old man yama's lieutenant) he was a really cool guy from his design and his bankai was sick. was saw him try something in soul society against ichigo, but that wasn't enough shine for him. RIP to him man, the man who gave old man yama his care (i legit just call him old man yama/yamaji because of shyunsui)

anything kenny does just makes me burst out laughing with tears because he's literally the definition of "Why". it's like charon from fire force everytime when he screams out "WALK!!!" "SNAP!!!" and has explosions in the background like allow it :D :D :D

They both have the "Y" Schrift, "The Yourself", ability to copy different things. The one Kenpachi first fought and beat was Loyd who can copy someone's current abilities and powers. The one that fought Old Man Yama was "Royd" who can copy memories and personality but he was probably already that strong or maybe on some Tsukishima shit where copying memories of people made him OP. They're still the "Y" ability but their names are L and R like left and right cuz theyre twins

Episode 6 was one of the most insane things I’ve seen animated in awhile. And that Aizen scene was actually not in the manga and just mentioned so it was new for everyone. Fun fact but the guy who made a fanmade bleach animation (Retro Ryno) for TYBW’s Byakuya scene also helped animate that episode! I recommend checking it out if you’re interested after TYBW. Super fun reaction! EDIT: oh yeah the guy who copied Kenpachi was the twin of the one who was copying Yhwach. Royd and Loyd were their names

16:31 i probably have said this before, but old man yama to me personally is the scariest old man in shonen anime thus far. i mean it was netero before, but old man yama, when he used ryujin jaka to fry that guy and he started flying over to ywach i had CHILLS and did a little scream......that old man is a PROBLEM. I remember when i was watching old bleach when he fought wonderweiss and thought why he didn't use bankai even against aizen as aizen said he would lose to old man yama bankai.....these epiosdes show it, his bankai is strong enough to force soul society to collapse on itself. imagine if he released it in fake karakura town. eessssh or if wonderweiss redirected his bankai power back to old man yama that was be crazy

The colour of the bankai seems a bit different, if you pay attention to the colour of the stolen bankais like Byakuya's, Toshiro's and Sasikibe's compared to their OG colour, you may see that they're all a little different when stolen.

@Blackrugrats he's mine too. Fun Fact - Yama has a Kill count of literally 10 TRILLION bodies making him like top 3 (I think or maybe 5) in ALL of anime with the highest kill count. Also, after TYBW Kubo released a 1 shot manga of "Hell Arc" and there's a possibility we may get a continuation after TYBW of an entire series having to do with HELL. Where pretty much everyone who's died will be there and even stronger if they were evil 🤯.

It's funny because in the first episode of Bleach Ichigo is laying down on his bed and his covers are the symbol of the quincy's also it showing that Aizen was able to alter Yhwach's senses confirms that Aizen became one with his blade. As when Ichigo uses his final getusga tenshou he was telling Ichigo that he became one with his blade as well before he got sealed. So now you just have to look at Aizen to be effected by his powers lol..

First off, loved the energy here and that both of y'all would pause when y'all was getting hype. Felt like I was watching two people watch a live stream of these fights, love it. Second, Äs Nödt quickly became apart of my top 10 characters in one episode, with his whole fear aesthetic. The voice acting, the ability, the imagery, and the character design. Third, the sound design for these episodes was elite. The song choices, but most of all for me, the sound of Yamamoto's fire. Finally, the growth of Byakuya throughout this series was beautifully showcased. His trust in Renji, even though ya know, but still, him feeling shame for letting his subordinates die and then allow himself to lose as he did, him trusting Renji, seeing Rukia dead as his fear, and then asking Ichigo to save the Soul Society. Cannot wait for more, keep it up!

There were actually 2 Sternritter Ys, they were twins that could copy the look of anyone, the one that fought Kenpachi could copy powers and the one that copied Yhwach could copy memories. 39:24, that wasn't flash step, that was Sonido, which conceals the users spiritual pressure when they use it, thats why it sounded different and why they lost track of Ichigo when he used it.
