Now I know why Sam Ash is struggling after listening to “reps” like this guy. As a keyboardist who purchased a YC-88 a couple of years ago, I’d have appreciated halfway knowledgeable questions and intelligent interaction.

I would love to see a organ bass pedal option in the next firmware update for external keyboard control, so when we connect any external board via midi we will have a bass pedal control option along with the upper and lower manual options. This would allow us to connect a midi bass pedal to our yc61 and playing real organ bass pedal sounds while still co trolling the upper/lower manual on the yc

The new FM organs are excellent!

Who would want to use the classic rotary sim after hearing the studio? Perhaps a future update would replace the old sims with another improvement?

Adding a neo vent to this is also a great option to beef up the sound and rotary effect.

The new rotary effect is very close to my Neo Vent, especially in the stereo width and tonality. Will probably be selling the Vent now.

Is there any way to make the foot controller for the rotary act like a Nord, i.e., momentary control that returns the speed to normal when it's released, instead of having to press it again?

Wow :-) I was so impressed, that I bought the YC61. Maybe you have me a hint: If I play, my YC61 sounds like a toy, very little bass or middle. Do you change the velocity curve and depth? What do u change to become that wonderful sound that I hear in your video? Thank you very much, Tom

The absolute WORST host they could find. Lower the credibility of Sam Ash by a mile. Poor Blake Angelos having to put up with this clown.

I have a video on my channel walking through how to update the YC61

I'm really sorry Blake you had to go through this. The number of times you were interrupted with incoherent, uniformed, unnecessary and outright wrong monologues must have need frustrating. I had to endure this video because I really wanted to learn more. I lost it at the whole 'let me tell you Blake what a sample is'. I know the idea is make it into a conversation, but if you're talking with an expert, respect their knowledge and just listen.

Does anybody know where YC keyboards are made?

Tastaturile din seria YC au sunete individuale, cum ar fi vioară solo, în categoria „alte” a seturi de mostre.

This is ridiculous. Homie starts explaining How the drawbars work with the FM engine and brings up a nice visual and ash guys shirks the screen so we can look at him blankly staring… it couldn’t see the visual explanation on my phone homie! I don’t care at all what you look like! I’ve watched a bunch of videos on YC at this point and haven’t seen him do the visual explanation yet, damn🙄.

Could Sam Ash gotten a worse person to host this “workshop”? The dumbest questions - poor Blake having to put up with this guy. And he’s not even a keyboard player! (He’s a guitarist?!?) Just goes to show - it’s all who you know!

That guy from Sam Ash music is SO annoying! Why make such facile interruptions that just mess up the conversation flow? Blake announces the differences between the Yc models and then a few minutes later, he was asked to explain the differences because the interviewer was clearly not listening! Comments about Dick Dastardly etc we’re just unnecessary and immature. Why have a guitarist do a video on keyboards as he does not have a clue what keyboard players may need or want? Not many questions for this live session…….mmmm, I wonder why!

The Sam Ash guy adds no value. Some of the stuff he said is wrong….
