@@satyavlogs0.246 there are music tones available on net in good quality...you just have to play them via usb or bluetooth on a new speaker set...around 10-12 hrs...depending on the system...at 10-15% of the volume

Excellent review sir! As a user ot Yamaha HT 3072 I can vouch for its sound quality and especially Yamaha's cinemaDSP MODES. Thank you! You don’t need any Fire Stick for pass through. I was just giving the demonstration. This Soundbar will connect easily with TVs HDMI ARC or eARC port.

Connecting through ARC/eARC will definitely give you AUDIO passthrough, BECAUSE, that is what ARC/eARC does to a soundbar-if found connected, but not HDR, Dolby vision or HLG passthrough, BECAUSE you don't need it, BECAUSE the TV has already got the video and will render accordingly, as equipped.

Iv 300 is only dug dug mid bass no low end bass...no proper clear trebles....5 channels in 5 full range speakers fitted in 5 channel boxes..no tweeters.. In 2017 it's a good system..but it's 2022 ..not at all..it's a below avarage products.. By the way only professional audio companies makes good sound system..not like this sony and samsung..they never approach professional level..

Hi Vineet, I'm using JBL 2.1 by Harman Sound bar (300W, Bluetooth woofer), it has JBL signature Base but, there is not much balance in vocals, base and treble. While buying this in 2018 I have also experienced Yamaha 5.1 home theater (5 speakers & amp) costing ~28k. But as u said I didn't feel base in it then. Now I'm inclined towards a music system which can produce every cling & clang sound. Could you plz suggest if I should go with Yamaha home theatre or this Yamaha sound bar ? Also, I want to sell my existing sound bar for a good price so that I'm not at much loss. What do you suggest ?

I have both bose soundtouch 30 (60k) and yahama yas 209 (30k). Yahama yas 209 is way better. If you have a 12x12 ft room, you will get exactly like a cinema hall like experience with any large screen TV and this sound bar combination. Best soundbar!

Got this soundbar almost 4 years ago because of the terrific reviews. What are the different settings you would recommend? Something that I was doing wrong and realised by watching this video was keeping both Clear Voice and Bass Extension on at the same time. I'm using this with a fire stick and a 4K enabled Sony Bravia TV

Vineet, I purchased this Soundbar from your Link, and I have to admit, it is excellent indeed, though not perfect. Music sounds best and most natural in "Stereo Mode". But the soundbar doesn't do a good job in giving the Music a "Surround Sound" Effect through the Surround Sound Modes (Like Music, etc. on the buttons). Those modes are not meant for 2.0 or 2.1 Channel Music (which is most common on KZread, Spotify, Amazon Music, and others). The surround sound modes rather give the music a more unnatural, artificial feel. Although, on the other hand, 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound gets decoded well in "Movie, TV, Music, Sports and Game Mode". With a "5.1 Sound Source", the Surround Sound mode works well. Clear Voice mode enhances sound of Dialogues really well. And honest truth - the 3D Audio Feature does not make the sound appealing. Rather more screechy and unnatural. So, it's best to keep it off. But I do agree this is the best Soundbar in India right now (if you know what feature to use with what type of content). And I hope Yamaha comes out with an even more impressive, stellar product by having the same or even better sound quality with 400 - 500 Watts Output next time, HDMI EARC Port, Dolby Atmos, and a better performing surround mode with music. Overall Rating : 4/5.

Friend, Music is always the best in stereo, never surround, and I have said this multiple times in many of my videos. Use the 3D mode for movies for surround (theater like) effect with DTS

@@VMone The regular "Movie Mode" works best for Movies with Dolby 5.1 Audio. The 3D Mode isn't good for movies, music, or any other type of content.

@@tushargujalwar219 JBL is very loud however Yamaha is balanced unlike BOSE. Only 80k +Dolby Atmos soundbar great example Bose 900 with bass module and Samsung Q990. Rest all Atmos sound bar are not up to the mark

Friend, if you have more than 300 sq ft and 15 ft wide room, then go for Sony. Else, you don't need a 5.1 in your room

If you really observed the lows ..and details. You will know.. personally I have lot of sound systems..in my friends groups lot of audio systems nearly 134 sound systems including this.. 3 k to 20 laks system we have.. But in this 30k price... Yamaha and polk and denon soundbar was better than any other brand .. Especially yamaha yas 207 and 209..if you don't spend that much go for 109.. But sound quality and richness was superb.. Sony S40 was scarp because it produces bass from 60hz to 18khz.. But yamaha 30 hz to 22khz.. Frequency... Damn good..bass was smooth ..S40 was hard typically you don't hear S40 for hours you will bore..but yamaha was professional audio company ..so there r&d was superior than sony and samsung

Wrong comparison, you should not compare the two. Yas 109 is a Solo Soundbar meant to be used in a room which is smaller and for people who just want to enhance their TV audio, they don't need Boomy Bass. However, Zeb 9800 is all about loudness, Atmos decoding, and good clarity (Yamaha still wins in clarity though).

I have Sony 65 inch x90J, using this sound bar for movies and music with great experience. Reaserched a lot For Dolby Atmos sound bar, found that it's not justified to use any Atmos sound bar less than budget 80k for such tv. If one have to buy the appropriate Atmos bar then it's BOSE 900 with bass module or Samsuang Q990B. rest cheap Atmos soundbar are bluff for Atmos esp sony G700 or HT09 doesn't sound great for music.

Vineeth ji, I heard from Yamaha store guy, it's better to use home theatre system like Yamaha 1840 than soundbar, as the quality of sound immersion will be superior. I understand that it's very convenient to use soundboard over 5.1 system. But, if music quality and experience matters, perhaps we can choose. Please reply, as this can help me and others.

You will get the surround sound, but if you dont want to spend on new tv then buy a amazon firestick and soundbar with 2 hdmi port

Hi vineet, I am fan of how sincerely you put your soul into reviewing things. I need your expert advice. My living room size is 12*24... Can help me understand if i should go for this sound bar? I tried and returned jbl 5.1 coz of its vocals were not clear but bass was awesome.... For me quality comes at first place and yes i know blutooth and wifi audio has some audio quality compromise when compared to wired but then the ease of carrying the sound system to diff room and parties actually worth spending the single penny. Good Day Vineetji After watching lot of reviews of soundbar on your channel I have finally decided to buy this Yamaha YAS 209 sound bar as it matches all my requirements based on my room size. However I have a single doubt. Currently I am using 65 inch old LED Full HD tv with amazon Fire TV stick. This TV is not having HDMI ARC or optical port in it. If I buy this sound bar and connect my fire TV stick in HDMI in of Soundbar and use pass through HDMI out cable to normal HDMI of my TV will the soundbar work? Will quality get compromised? Earlier to this soundbar i chose Zebronics Zeb Octave but due to its 340 op i changed my mind. Pls suggest me. One last thing how you will define the longevity of this soundbar.
