I accidentally said that it's a dual-overhead camshaft engine, but it actually only has a single camshaft.
You're going to learn:
-What kind of dirt bike the TTR230 is
-Basic specs, such as: HP, weight, seat height, wheelbase, wheel size
-How to know if the TTR 230 is a good dirt bike based on your size/height
-Why I think it's a good beginner dirt bike for adults and teens
-Why it might NOT be a good dirt bike for you
-Practical tips and tricks for buying, owning, and riding a TT-R230 dirt bike

What do you think of the Yamaha TTR 230? (Correction: it's a SOHC - not a DOHC engine as I misspoke in the video!)

At your height and weight the size of almost any of the entry level trail bikes would be perfect for you. (Kawasaki KLX 230, Yamaha TTR 230, Honda CRF 250F). I’d look at whatever you can find at the best price since performance wise they are very similar. Biggest difference would be fuel injection on the newer KLX and CRF 250F models

For a starter bike the 230 but if you have ridden before I would recommend a 03-18 CRF 250 they remind me of a 230 a lot you can do newer or older but based off what I have ridden they seem similar but the tourque and horsepower

This TTR230 is a full size bike. It has about a 3-4" lower seat height compared to a race bike.

I bought a KLX230R earlier this year. I’ve been very happy with it. I am looking for stiffer spring options since I’m 210lbs with gear.
